I brought my scooter to Burbank Kawasaki for repair in mid October (2009) and explained to mechanic Alex what the problem was. I was very detailed. It took them over a week. I picked up the bike and the bike had the SAME problems--as if they never even fixed it! I called back October 23rd and told new head mechanic Mike Gauba to "check the starter" because the bike wasn't starting up the right way. Alex had left the companyI can see why. This took almost a freaking month for him to fix! He kept telling me one bullshit excuse after the other, from "waiting for the switch to come in" to "I'm gonna order a USED starter and it'll be an additional $75." (!!!) I already paid them $215 in October. All I got from that was an expensive tune up.


Finally, on Friday November 20Th, I got a ride up there from a friend and saw my scooter way up against a wall surrounded by other bikes outside collecting dustTHEY WERENT EVEN WORKING ON IT!! I was LIVID. I met with the owner Leon Ballissimo who is never there...told him my story and told him I wanted to tow it out, they had it way too long. Leon says to me The parts for your bike are hard to get. Bullsh*t. I told Leon all you had to do was call the ACTUAL MANUFACTURERTHE PARTS ARE THERE. This is my property for Gods sake and I need it to get around. Leon got on Mike's case to get the bike out and work on it again, get the used starter in. Leon said to me he could not find the second work order which was needed to work on the scooter, this is done by their computer.


I mean, how INCOMPETENT AND DISORGANIZED can a company be? They are THE WORST to do business with. AND they didn't even give me a loaner for my super long wait and troubles. I am trying to get a job after being laid off and need my scooter for my job hunt. I explained this to Mike, does he care? Of course not. DO NOT GO TO BURBANK KAWASAKI ON NORTH HOLLYWOOD WAY. And...they are closed on Mondays. Why be closed on a business day? For all the d**n waiting and bullcrap excuses I got from mechanic Mike AND not being called back with an answer by him when he said he would, makes me want to let the world know how bad they are. If he was honest and upfront and told me he couldnt fix it, then I would of towed it out much sooner and looked for other options. Making anyone wait that long is atrocious.

These positive reviews about Burbank Kawasaki are clearly fake reviews made my the proprietors of Burbank Kawasaki or someone hired by same.  Their reputation is terrible in the community (a quick look around BBB, Yelp! or other sites will show a majority of customers who angry about their service.

Their MO seems to go as follows: sell you a vehicle which is below standard or has some basic major repair. (After 700 miles, the muffler on my scooter fell off in the middle of Melrose), I brought the bicycle back for repairs and have now waited 7 weeks.

 took my bike here a while back in 2009. I had 1981 Honda Nighthawk 400

They lied about the time frame to fix my clutch. Lied about not being able to find parts. Lied about calling me back. Broke parts on my bike. Stole parts on my bike.

I had to go to the shop every single day to make sure they were doing the work.

After 2 weeks they finally fixed my clutch. As i looked at the bike i realized they broke a part off they motor and used a wire to ghetto rig it back up. It was an old bike so I just said fine and wanted to leave. When i got home i realized that my Left passenger foot rest was missing.   I went back to the shop and told them they had taken it off and I demanded a new foot rest. They accused me of lying, that it never had it, but I refused to take no for an answer, and they finally found another one that didn't even match up.  Again it was an old bike so i was said fine.

I have never gone back to that place.  Even if my bike breaks down in front of their shop i wouldn't trust them to do anything right.  I'm surprised they are still in business.

THESE GUYS LIE.  THEY BREAK AND STEAL PARTS OFF YOUR BIKE.

NEVER GO HERE!.

THEY CONDUCTED A STING OPERATION AND FOUND THE DEALER TO BE RIPPIN THEM OFF
TOO WHICH MEANS THEY ARE RIPPIN EVERYTAX PAYER OFF BECAUSE THATS WHO FIXES THE BIKE FOR CHP. SO MAYBE THEY WERE HAPPY  BUT NOT KNOW MORE YOU WILL NOTICE THE COPS ARE ON BMWS
AND HONDA ST 1300. SO I WOULD NOT BRAG ABOUT YOUR DEALING WITH CHP  YOU SHOULD HAVE GONE TO JAIL

I went to 3 dealers and they where not very friendly or helpful. I am a new rider and Leon took the time to show me everything about the bike. We made the deal over the phone and when I
got there I was very happy and he kept all the promises. I bought a Kawasaki motorcycle @ Burbank Kawasaki.

They did not have it in the show room and Leon personally when and pick it up at the storage place. Delivered it quickly, and even lowered it for me. I couldn't be happier. I am a major stickler when it comes to buying a vehicle, 9 times out of 10 I don't like the dealers I have had to work with. This time I was 100% satisfied. I highly recommend this dealer

THIS PLACE SUCKS!  Do not go here! Don't even waste your time. Shady salesmen that rip you off and throw in all these extra fees and taxes and prices that dont add up or make sense, except to them because they are RIPPING you off!  Especially the Fat, armo looking salesman that has a beard/gotee or whatever. That guy is a lard of JOKE. DO NOT GO HERE. There is nothing else to say. JUST DONT DO IT!  They don't give a crap about customer service. everything scamish about this place.

What can I say, after reading reviews I was worried, but what a great turn around. Mike at the parts counter is "old school" and a man of his word. He stepped up and did his best to match prices and when parts didn't arrive he made it right. I
knew it wasn't his fault and he still handled the issue and got me back on the road. Plus when I have been in a pinch they searched old parts to find a carb float clip I needed. In the era of everyone buying on-line an no dealers around its good to have a Kawi dealer local I can trust to be straight with me. Don't get me wrong, you might have issues or problems with them or any dealer but to me its how they handle those issues that matter to me. I will continue to be a loyal customer.

kawasakis Rebuttal made no sence at all why would kawasaki keep a used bike for parts then claim on this same Rebuttal that kawasaki  DOES NOT  INSTALL USED PARTS?  these guys are a bunch of good for nothing crooks stayaway! stop selling these garbage chinese scooters stop ripping people off hope your business folds karma will catch up with you
