I was also another ex-employee of this company!  It was unbelievable!  The "showroom" was half set up!  Every time the phone rang, it was someone asking either where/when their office furniture would be delivered or for their monies back!  I had to play dumb & pretended to be a receptionist, as there was nothing else I could do for them, because of course, Buck was never around!

One day, after arriving to the "showroom", I found out that all of the purchase orders with the manufacturer were cancelled over night.  Apparently, they finally caught on that Business Furniture International / International Business Interiors was owned by Buck, who ripped them off previously.  No wonder whenever I had to fill out any credit application, he instructed me to NOT to include his name, but rather put another employee's name on it. 

Of course, like many other orders that he managed to scam people to give him money for, he scrambled around for products.  For this particular order (that all the PO was cancelled over night), he had me look for a bunch of plastic white tables in place of what the clients really had ordered & delivered to them, telling them that the shipment was delayed!?!! 

Most of the time, I was there ALL BY MYSELF!  One big reason I was always there is to make sure that I got paid, as his checks bounced like a tennis ball!?!  Whenever he paid anyone of us, we all ran to the bank & cashed our checks immediately. 

Then one day, all of us, from the employees to vendors to clients, EVERYONE got an anonymous email disclosing his scam.  We learned that Buck would take people money & then close down the company & start another one.  (I don't understand how it is so easy for someone to open a corporation.  They should start check up on people's background before approving their corporation applications.) 

Anyhow, before doing business as the two companies mentioned above, Business Furniture International & International Business Interiors, he previously opened these other companies:

Commerical Office Resource Group
Business Furniture Solutions
Modular Furniture Refurbishers

Rushel Corporation

Yup, the email was pretty startling, because it even listed all of the lawsuits that he has ever involved in.  Apparently, Buck has lawsuits from Riverside County (or Temecula, which is where he lives by the way), Orange County, and San Diego County.  If any one is curious about this crook, of course, they can search for the cases on the county superior courts websites, as the records are available to the public. 

One thing I do hope that all these poor people who got ripped off by this crook should get together and file a class action against him.  He is completely a criminal! 

You outta try working for Rusty Buck! I took an Administrative position with a previous entity of his: BFS, located on Corning Street in Murrieta back around 2000 or 2001. Right awat I could see something was amiss with BFS and Rusty Buck. The guy never wanted to pay any vendors. He always said that vendor invoices related to a prior company and did not apply to BFS. You should have heard the flack we had to take from these vendors over the phone. It was awful.

My the time I had the misfortune of going to work for this pompous and arrogant crook, I had already been around the block more than once and could plainly see that I had make a terrible mistake going to work for this fraud. I was out of there within a couple months.

Rusty Buck ran his company from the seat of his pants. He did not run it in any traditional sense. Employees were always nervous about getting timely and properly paid for their services. Unpaid vendors were constantly ringing the phone off the hook and screaming to whoever was unfortunate enough to pick up the phone. The place was a complete joke.

I am not at all surprised to see Buck's name show up on a whistle-blowing website like this. I am only surprised by how long it took. Like another wrote, I also don't see how this guy can safely walk down a street without any retribution.

I worked very briefly for Rusty Buck at BFS as an Administrator in 1999 or 2000 when he was on Corning Street in Murrieta. I had been around the block by the time I started at BFS and right away I could see something was amiss with Mr. Buck and his company. Buck never wanted to pay any of his vendors. He always said that vendor invoices in question were related to prior companies and that BFS wasn't liable. Employees were always concerned as to when they were gonna get paid. He ran the company from the seat of his pants.

Mr. Buck was as pompous and shady as they came. I immediately did not trust him and my resume was on the street within the first week of my tenure at Buck's company. I could immediately see that this was not a company in the traditional sense, but instead was a big con, a front of some kind.

It does not at all surprise me that Mr. Buck has shown up on a website like this. It was just a matter of time.
