Butcher's Choice Meat ripoff Illinois

Total ripoff. I wish I'd visited this sight before I bought from them. Spoke to Health Department and they might do something about the problem. They came out and picked up the garbage these people passed off as meat and I gave them the generic receipt Butcher's Choice sales people gave me. Didn't realize until they were gone it (the receipt) had no company name address or phone number.

The phone number on the side of the truck was for their office in Ohio. When I called it, I spoke to some asswipe named Jason who said too bad, we aren't responsible for the store in Illlinois. Then said I must JUST have buyers remorse. What happened is this tag team of con artists a man and a "pregnant" woman came in my home and dumped box after box of meat on my counter table and eventually on my floor. The woman was some kind of just off the truck hick who kept lifting her shirt and showing me her belly saying look I'm pregnant.

This happened like three times and was - to say the least - distracting in a disturbing way. In other words kind of sick. I felt sorry for them. They said they had three other kids at home and one on the way, so I bought their product. Not the (looked ok) meat on my table but the unopened "prime stock" from their truck. Thawed out a steak, stuck it in the broiler where it immediately stunk up my house like a was cooking something that had layed dead in my yard for a week. Health Dept. said they've had reports of them selling tainted meat and they're under investigation. Well I'm out the money and these scum artists had the last laugh for the moment. Buyer BEWARE. Just don't want it to happen to anyone else. I paid a steep price to learn a lesson.
