I ordered a new cover for the bed of my new f-150 truck. It arrived damaged. I immediately took photos and wrote an email to buyautotruckaccessories

On the first business day I called after much trouble getting through, I was told that they would not take the cover back or send a new one, because my cover was damaged, ! They did say that they would send a part to repair the cover, but the cover is irreparable! The break is in a part that would take quite a bit of adhesives a etc to repair. Way beyond anything I can do. It is not in the henge but in a plastic arm.

 PLUS I did not order a damaged cover, I order a new ready to use one. The item was not as represented and un-usable.
When I asked to speak to a manager/supervisor, I was told that I could not. When I asked the costumer service reps name, he said he could not give out that information.

I am mad! Honestly, I have never delt with a company with such poor service.  This is very sad because I would have gladly ordered many items from this company for my new truck. I feel so frustrated and now I have a useless truck cover. I really feel taken advantage of.

Mary,

We attempted to remedy the situation by replacing the broken part directly from the manufacturer.  Often, this is the fastest way to resolve a situation like this to keep our customers happy.  This would have been a very simple fix.  It was merely a case where you just needed to fit the new part into place and you would have been ready to go.  For whatever reason, you were unwilling to accept this resolution.

As you know, in keeping with our vow of 100% customer satisfaction which we proudly stand behind, we have call tagged the part ourselves.   We have given you the option of replacing the cover or refunding you in full.

We are sorry that you were not satisfied with our attempt to resolve this issue.
