I noticed on Sunday a charge that was taken out of my Bank of America (BOA) bank card (I check my account online periodically). When I noticed a bank check amount with no check number and it was an amount charged twice one right above the other for 198.50 I called the customer service number for BOA. They - customer service - said they would take the one out of my account and that what is was - was an adjustment against the transfer of 400.00 from my savings account. None of this made sense. I did not remember transferring 400.00 all at once. Anyway, they asked for my bank account number and then wanted my check card number with the three digit code on the back. I never remembered that being asked of me either by the bank. I complained to the bank that they were making transactions that were confusing me, and that it did not make sense to make an adjustment look like a bank check. I even spoke to my son and daughter saying that this was all very weird. Now on Thursday I suddenly have a charge made to Buyers Advantage for 139.99. I googled this and found another complaint and very similiar tactics all associated with BOA. I called BOA very frustrated and mentioned how I noticed online that this is a scam. I requested the Bank complaint form mentioned in the earlier complaint. The woman at BOA put me on hold then came back and admitted they do have a contract and are working with Buyers Advantage. I told her to document my complaint and she transferred me to the electronic banking department. They told me I had to call back tomorrow to complain again since it showed 'pending'. I told them the way that associates scamming to get the money from people and is all associated with the bank looks very bad for them especially in this economy. This is totally wrong!!!! I complained online and will write a letter to the bank president complaining. SCAM and yes this is very wrong. If I were BOA I would cancel the contract immediately. Honestly, I've never had any problems with BOA and always defended them when other people complained. But now, I'm angry and will consider doing banking elsewhere if this is not rectified immediately.

Question

AUTHOR: Ken - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, March 20, 2009

When you say that you called BoA...where did you get that number? It is VERY suspicious that they asked your card number. If you called a number you found on a web page, you very likely have been scammed. There are web sites that divert you to a phony BoA web page. It looks real, but doesn't have a real BoA phone number on it, and if you call it, you just gave your banking information to a swindler.

Instead of trying to do this on the phone, go into your branch and talk to a real person, and tell them that you may have compromised your account information. If needed, they can close accounts and re-issue numbers. Don't hesitate!!

When you call your bank, they should never ask for that information, they already have it.

Let us know what happens with this.

line the pockets of the top executives with MILLIONS of dollars in cash.' - Harvard Business Professor, to his class of EXECUTIVES in late 2004.

Hey, the following corporations were listed, and some still are listed, on the stock exchange, RIGHT?

Countrywide, AIG, Bear Stearns, Lehman, Merrill Lynch, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, & some of the BANKS that received 'TARP' money from the government (Troubled Asset Relief Plan), correct?

The government now owns about 80% of AIG, right? So why are the people who were at the ROOT CAUSE of many of our financial problems still working there, & RECEIVING BONUSES? 'Google' this- FIVE FORMER INSURANCE EXECS FOUND GUILTY OF FRAUD, and read the 2-25-2008 article by 'USA Today' from LAST YEAR!!!!

Remember, without the $150 BILLION+ in TAXPAYER'S money AIG would have completely COLLAPSED, right? So, in essence, our government has kept a company that made BAD CHOICES in business, & is actually REWARDING some of these people, wouldn't you agree?

Oh well, I guess that's just BUSINESS IN AMERICA, huh?!

WELCOME TO AMERICA- IN FRAUD WE TRUST!

Don't forget to 'Google' this- RIP OFF REPORT FUEL FREEDOM INTERNATIONAL MPG CAPS, and go to the 2001 Toyota Tacoma Report, and then to the 'Update' entitled- 'Blame it on a Lawyer' and read what ELSE the Harvard Professor said to his class of EXECUTIVES back in late 2004.

What a COMPLETE JOKE the USA has turned out to be, huh?

More poems coming!

Don't forget to read- 'HARVARD PROFESSOR POEM', & 'CUOMO POEM', & 'FEDERAL INCOME TAX POEM', & 'INSURANCE POEM', & 'LAW FIRM POEM', & 'DIGIT POEM', that are all here in the 'Updates' section.

Thank you,

POWER TO THE PEOPLE

P.S. 'PONZI POEM' is over at the TOYOTA page of this site as an 'Update' to Fausto's Ripoff Report that was posted on 12-21-2008, or thereabouts. Go read it!
