Byung Yoo Beware of this land lord Very Greedy Pleasanton California

The landlord Byung is a very selfish and deceptive individual. Be very careful if you are considering to rent his property. When you call/email him regarding repairs he first questions and then does the repairs himself (which are not very good). He even makes you pay half of what the repairs costs.

There was very large black cockroaches in the house and especially in the garage. After assuring me that there was no roach problem in the house when we first moved in. A few days later there were several dead roaches found around the house. He apparently sprayed the perimeter of the house before he put it up for rent. When I told him about the roach problem he gave me a bottle of insecticide and told me to spray the perimeter of the house every 3 months!

At the end of the lease he will use every possible reason/excuse to keep your deposit even if the property was left in better shape than when you first rented it. There are also several charges that aren't even legal and he still deducts them. He is lucky that I do not have any time to pursue the deposit in small claims court. Save yourself the trouble and hassle and look elsewhere if you are considering renting from him.
