 These people can not even make a sensible rebuttal- they are quick to take your money and get the car back without warning within the first 2 weeks of purchasing a car. They need to read other reviews on the internet and so does the public so that no one makes a mistake in buying a car at their lots.

C&D know exactly what they are doing, prey on people with credit issues and rip them off, clear and simple. They ripped off my son in-law using extremely unethical business practices. They have gotten away with this using preditory lending to get the deposit and the car back leaving the customer without a way to support their family. I know they will eventually get what they deserve, including Carl Barker. I spoke with the staff and they told me that they follow his instructions on how to rip off their customers. They watch the clock, do not take payment asking the customer to call back and then get the car back. How do they sleep at night?

I am warning all consumers that the reviews posted on the internet are correct about this company. They scam you when you walk in and after you leave the lot with a purchased used car/vehicle. They use unethical, disgusting sales practices to ripoff the unsuspecting, trusting consumer. For example: "Tito" the salesman gives you a run down about his difficult life as a single father while he rips off, taking your money and Deposit promising things that are not in the contract. Then they take the vehicle back using a spare key and tracking devise on the same day, trying to make a payment- they say the person that takes payment is not available while they get the car from your driveway. Tito will not take calls or engage in anymore conversation once they scam the customer. C&D are making money from the unsuspecting, trusting customer. I hope our community gets smart and they are closed down!!! I tried to speak to the owner but that is impossible with accusations of threats to them. This business scams people- stay away if you want to save time and money.

If you had read the comment with comprehension you would have noted the following, FIRST, You give them your budget of what you have and what you can afford, they tell you your choice is within these parameters and then when it comes down to the very minute before you supposed to get your keys; the price of the car and down payment has changed. By now you've already changed insurance cards, regestration, and possibly traded your car to these Tyrants.

So with sales trickery they make you feel like they will help you with this unwanted price hike by extending you more credit to accomadate this increase. Knowing full well it's just another in house program tactic to repo the care even sooner than if you were a day late on a monthly. And you are excited for your so called new vehicle which WILL have engine and electrical issues, that you agree to these pain shark rates not realizing you had just made a huge mistake and your chances of ever actually owning this vehicle are slim to none.

And how come you didn't comment on the illegal GPS tracking devices installed in the vehicle??? Cat got your tounge? If this isn't an invasion of privacy I don't what is. And last but by far not least because the list is vast about this chop shop wanna be car yard, do you not find it coinicidence that every review about Carl and c & d auto consist of some poor soul who lost what could have been there only vehicle or life savings.

If you can't afford the car i agree with you; you shouldn't be buying. But every customer from this place gets scorned. EVERY CUSTOMER. Their problem is they still think they own the car or trucks even after they sell them. So you have no chanc, rather than help an occasional distressed situation and keep a customer happy they prey on the credit weak and wait for the first opportunity to steal your equity, trade, and means of transportation.

And I wouldn't be surprised if Carl himself or the staff wrote the rebuttal. I mean something's gotta be wrong if there monitoring rip off report!!! They replied within hours of the rip off claim. HEY, IF YOU WANNA LOSE ALL YOUR MONEY AND YOUR CAR. BY ALL MEANS BE ANOTHER VICTIM. There's enough info on the Internet telling what you need to know to be safe from these people.

Please Comment on the GPS's hidden in the vehicles. I challenge you to justify that break in our constitution.

Here's what you are saying...you don't have money for the down payment and you make that down payment in installments.  Then you complain about them doing a repo when you're late (isn't that a surprise).  Since you can't even afford the down payment and you're not even paying on time...do you think Einstein, maybe you can't even afford the car?  Or is it you are "ENTITLED" to the car even if you can't afford it???
