i moved to az in aug 2012, a week later my car broke down.. i am a co signer on another vehicle, so i was not able to get traditional loan, and had to go to this rip off place.. i had no idea about this place when i purchased my car. i brought a camaro,with a 12 month, 12000 mile warrenty...  from the start, the car ran "sluggesh" i thought i was just because it was a v6, and i was used to a v8.. as the weeks went by, the car started getting worse and worse, i call cactus jacks, they tell me only engine/trans covered under warrenty, so i went to a shop, was told egr valve, had it replaced, car was no different, then found out it was the catalitic converter.. i called cactus jackk back because it was so bad, the entire exhaust was glowing red, was told by shop had to have been clogged when i brought it.. cactus jack still insisted it was not their problem. so i had it fixed..

meantime, i didn't make the payment, i told my account rep i was not paying nothing until my car was fixed, i was told by "dale" the service mgr to bring my reciept, my account would be credited, now, my fault for never bring reciept, however was not hounded about this pymnt missed until months later. so meantime, car overheats one night. i look at it the next, there is oil mixing with my coolant, the radiator looked like mud.. i called cactus jack again for this, was told again, not covered under warrenty, but i was told could bring car to them, they would check it out, and if not covered, i would have to pay $75 for the check: so before taking the car to them, i took it to 2 other shops that assured me was not the head gasket, but was the intake gasket.. i took car to cactus jack, got a  phone calling advising me the timing chain cover was cracked, causing oil to leak into the radiator: so they said was covered under warrenty... these idiots had my car for a WEEK.... and when i went to pick it up, they never flushed the over flow tank, so i had to go back inside and have them come out and take car back and do that:  meantime, i still made a payment that was due> and no car.  i kept smelling antifreeze from car, but thought maybe it was just because they had replaced the entire coolant system, according to dale, the service mgr: and replaced the cracked timing chain cover:
 
so today, about 6 weeks after repair, the car overheats again, i call dale back, and let him know, he's telling me to take car to other shop because they weren't covering anything else on warrenty, i told him what if something is leaking from what you are saying was replaced, that would make you responsible. he said no. they were not covering anything else.. so i had a co worker look in radiator for me at work, and what do you know, that same brown sludge was back in the radiator: and in the over flow. i went to other shop, and told them issue, they said have never heard of timing chain cover cracking and making oil leak into coolant system. this is same shop that had previously advised me it was the intake gasket, but cactus jack said that was not it, it was timing chain cover: i called dale back at cactus jack, explained to him the oil was back in the coolant system, and car was not fixed whn they claimed to have fixed it: he said i can bring it back, and if its not the timing chain cover, i will be responsible for the repairs, i asked why, i am bringing same problem back to him. he started to be rude, saying we fixed the car months ago. i interupted him correcting him saying no, it was weeks ago: and if i am bringing same issue back to him, then YES, you are responsible, meaning you mis diagnosed the issue. He kept talking over me saying that i was driving, and said something about this happening over night, probably dif problem, i asked him if he thought i  was STUPID, this didn't happen over night, took this time to build back, i told him this was crap, i make my payments on time, and pay more than i am supposed to, he said to me congrats.. he was being smart: i asked if he was going to correct this issue and fix my car the right way, or was i going to have to get an attorney involved.. he said bring car back, then figure out about getting attorney..

i spoke w/ guy at other shop when i got off. i do not TRUST dale the so called service mgr at cactus jacks to touch my camaro again. so i am having the shop fix it and taking them to court.. they think they have people cornered because of credit situations, bad credit , no credit, but i have news for them, the only reason i had to go to them was due to cosigning on other vehicle, and not being able to "justify" another car loan. and when i went to my credit union to refi the camaro, was told i was so upside down in loan, i wouldn't be able to get out of it. so joke on them, i will be paying for the repairs of my car myself, and when i take the reciept to them, if they do not reimburse the entire amount, i will be taking them to court.. i have been trying to get ahold of the number on the warrenty paperwork to see if they actually filed a claim for the work the so called did but can never get anyone to pick up the phone:
