Ok so my wife and I dont have the greatest credit I dont have a problem admitting that and apparently Cactus jack and the Chicago Lenders are salivating over this at any given opportunity. They make you feel comfortable about the terrible purchase you are going to make and let you know that everything is going to be ok.

You see I know that having GOOD credit is the best way to go but i didn't have that option so the big dealers and financers were out of the question and after being burned by Earnhardt's I really didn't want to go thru that all over again so I figured I would have a better chance of going this route and sacrifice dealer quality and experience and the outcome being that I'd actually be leaving the lot with a new car instead of being empty handed.

So now that I have the car that I needed for my growing family things were good albeit it wasnt a Brand New car but it fit the role that I needed it to. So after about 2 weeks i get a knock on the door from a Repo Agent whom already had my car "Hooked Up"(which includes a fee) advising me that the vehicle was being repoed for non-payment. I had advised him that my inital payment wasnt even due yet because i had put a large down payment on the vehicle which had covered the first couple of payments anyways.

So he calls the Chicago Lenders and explains this to them and they had advised him to tell me that they hadn't received the payment for my tags and registration??? Umm excuse me but isn't tax title and license all to be taken care of at the time of sale??? So I went into my glovebox and pulled out the sales contract payment schedule and al of the receipts that i received that day and showed him that all of these had been taken care of the day of and time of sale and he told the rep on the phone that what i was saying is true. After about 20 mins. of going round and round with the phone rep they told me that the sales rep "Ken" applied my funds for the tax and registration to my first 2 payments??? EXCUSE ME!!!!!! How the hell do you do that type of deal? tax free sales or just reworked funds to make it possible for the sale? Did that really happen?

So now I'm off to the ATM on my bike to go pull out the $350 that they need me to give to the driver so that I can keep my car since the funds are being rerouted to pay for my tags and registration and the first 2 payments can be made. oh and on top of that they gave me 2 weeks to pay for the $125.00 hook up fee for the Repo Guy. Even the repo guy was telling me that he hates dealing with this company because every time he goes to get a car its the same story from all of the customers. They were complaining of being mislead by the reps and hung up on and threatened and harassed. Never once did he say it was because they were uncooperative or unwilling to pay.

Ok so fast forward about three months... I start getting the calls again and Im thinking ok just an overzealous collector doing his job after i had already talked to a rep at chicago lenders to tell them that I would be making the payment on the following monday and not on friday because the funds were simply not going to be available at the time. What did he say? "Ok just make sure you make the payment on monday" so here we are on Monday at around noon and there is a man banging on my door and ringing my doorbell and trying to open my garage. Note to Repo Personnel this is Arizona aka the Wild Wild West. Lots of people have guns...lots. I would highly recommend not trying to gain access into peoples homes without identifying yourself or stating your purpose unless you have no other reason to live and that a vehicle worth less than the hospital bill and lawsuit you would receive is really beneficial to you for the small fee of picking up said vehicle.

Of course my situation now is that the rep that I had spoken to miraculously made no notation on my account of said conversation and they are here to simply pick up the vehicle unless I pay them over $600. I advised them that I would be keeping the payment arrangement that I had agreed to and that they would not be leaving with any vehicles(dont forget that this is a civil matter and that they can and will try to use scare tactics such as calling the police and or reporting the vehicle stolen which is a total lie the police will not get involved(to an extent dont be stupid) they will have to go through the courts and do a lot much more before the authorities get involved) they want your money they dont want the piece of s**t car they sold you. They said that I could keep making payments but they would not lift the repo order off of the vehicle until the $600+ was paid up.

Good Luck
