I went to work for Cactus-Leasing in Mesa AZ about three weeks ago. There equipment didnt work to allow me to slide my tandems of the trailer. A mechanic had to be called out twice to enable me to slide the tandems. I know how to slide the tandems. Jason the owner is very rude and arrogant. Dont think he has ever driven a truck. Tried to explain problem to him but did no good.
After I delivered my product in Davenport, IA. I was told to take the truck to Penske in Davenport, IA. Upon arriving at Penske I was told to get my belongings out of the truck. I was instructed that I would be given 30 min to get my belongings out of the truck. I asked if I could my entire pay on a efs check to enable me to get back home. I was told by Tanelle that she could give me a $300 efs check. My greyhound ticket cost me $252 and $15 for my second box which I never received. Also I had to take a cab which cost me $40. So I had to pay $307 of my own to get back home.
I also had two tires that blew out on I-70 in Denver. I was insructed by Jason on two blown out tires nearly 30 miles so he could save $100. The company has no integrity. My final check was shorted $1100. My final deposit was for .01. Jason and Tanelle have cheated other drivers. I spoke to other drivers who were done with in similar fashion. I urge drivers dont work for cactus transport unless you wish to be cheated.

This driver was removed from his truck in Davenport, IA but only after we had 2 driving complaints on him and 2 complaints from mechanics and 1 shipper complaint that he dealt with in the 10 days he worked for us. In reference to his 2 "blowouts" you can see in the pictures that it is sidewall damage from running over something. He called me from the TA in Denver and we had the tires changed at the TA, not 30 miles away. After he delivered in Davenport and we again, 2nd time, called a mechanic to look at the issue he was having sliding the tandems, we were informed that the DOT bumper was bent into a V shape and that he had gotten the trailer brakes so hot that 2 of the brake drums and ALL of the trailer brakes were completely down to the steel. This trailer had BRAND NEW BRAKES AND DRUMS on it when he left with it. He managed to do $1800 in trailer damages within 10 days, 2 driving complaints, 2 mechanic complaints and 1 shipper complaint that resulted in him being banned from their facility. So yes, due to the state of attitude, carelessness and driving abilities, we felt it was safe and prudent to get him out of the truck asap before he hurt someone. We did give him $300 to buy a bus ticket with, therefore not leaving him stranded. If any potential employees reading this needs further proof of anything i have stated, then we are an open book and can provide the letter from the shipper, the mechanic he dealt with and maintanence records to proove our statements, along with pictures of his overheated brake drums. Safety first. Have a blessed day.
