we were going to be sending a large # of letters and were quoted a certian price well at the last minute right before we approved any proofs they changed the price $300 more expensive and tried to weasel their way into explaining it. We are not stupid we have used bulk mail before and they were just tryin to screw us. so we decided to just cancel the project before any proofs were seen. well they charged us for processing our list which is fine. but then they charged us a cancellation fee of $50 when nothing had even been done. no proofs were seen or even started. You would think if someone was about to spend thousands of dollars with a company they would be fair enough to help them out, Nope, not cactus, they just want your money. Lesson learned, and we will never use them as our mailer, and anyone we talk to will know that. we are now useing someone else for our printing and would gladley pay more to know they are taking care of us. Thanks for nothin Cactus!

I have use cactus mailing for 4 years. Only had one problem once they were told of the problem and they realized they made it., they fixed it at there expense. This was thousands of dollar. I was very surprised. I have used other mailing services. And none of them has giving us service like Jill has at cactus mailing. I do about 80000 mailer per year, and I trust this company to take care of us at All-Right Air Conditioning and Heating Inc. Kingman az.

RETRATRACTION OF ALL REBUTTALS
AUTHOR: Anoymus - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Thursday, March 06, 2008
This report is part of an agreement I reached with my former employer, Cactus Mailing. The intial rebuttal in Report: #276115 were done by myself, Tom Morgan after receiving a bad review I over reacted. I regret what I did and have paid with my job. Additional rebuttals were subsequently filed in an attempt to satisfy the agreement I reached with Mike. The original Report: #276115 however WAS NOT done by me. I have since been released from employment from Cactus Mailing as punishment. Mike and Nancy I am sorry. Prospective clients reading information on this site should use Cactus Mailing AND NOT RELY on information on message boards like this. Cactus Mailing has a good rating with the Better Business Bureau and many clients would not do business with any other direct mailer.

RETRACTION

Mike this is a retraction of any statements you or Nancy have problems. There was nothing I can do to get anything removed even after directly contacting the site administrator. However I stand by the complaint that Nancy and Maria made calling people from India "dotheads". That is exactly what I heard on more than one occassion which is completely uncalled for in any business as shows that diversity had no place there.
For what its worth I am sorry. Tom Morgan

EVEN THOUGH I WAS FIRED FOR A REBUTTAL I DID NOT POST, I AM POSTING THIS REBUTTAL TO A REBUTTAL THAT IS NOT TRUE.

This is from a current employee for obvious reaasons I am not using any identifiable information that would get me fired.
We actually have to get permission from upper management to do our jobs. No joke. We are not aloud to talk to our co-workers unless it has to do with work.
The operations manager has mental problems and she has admitted to having take medication to keep calm. The production area, if you can call it that, is not allowed to use air conditioning in the summer time unless the owners okay it. HEY IT GETS 120 DEGREES IN THE SUMMER TIME AND EVEN HOTTER IN THE BUILDING!
They use very out dated machinary to insert the mail which has no capactity to do any sort of large job. Despite what they advertise all over the internet, they ARE NOT one stop for direct marketing. Any time a large is needed by a client Cactus Mailing outsources the printing to somebody else. They do not like to do flat mailings and have no way to do selective inserting or polybag inserting. Their "printing" is nothing more than a digital color copier that is constanly breaking down. Then the operations manager quite literally freaks out.
On there website at least one of the client testimonials comes from the parents of the wife of the owner under the guise of a business.
Do enough research and you'll find three different addresses they have used prior to their current location. After 7 years in business they STILL haven't grown as much as other direct mail companies over the same period of time. The owners are afraid of any sort of expansion or growth.
And worst of all, both the operations manager and the wife of the owner (she is also a co-owner) constantly refer to people from India as "Dotheads".
ASK YOURSELF....IS CACTUS MAILING THE SORT OF DIRECT MAILING COMPANY YOU WANT TO TRUST YOUR ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN TO? I WOULDN'T AND MANY CURRENT CLIENTS AGREE AND HAVE TAKEN THEIR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.
