California Pools & Spas Inferior Materials West Covina, California

California Pools & Spas built our pool in 1997 and ever since, we have experienced the results of poor materials, essentially the poor quality of concrete used. The concrete used in the surrounding decking never did display an even coloration. It is very blotchy, including the cantilever coping. Additionally, the concrete continues to surface blemishes and pock marks wherein the surface wears away and open air pockets result. Patching is not effective, as patching only furthers the blemishes. As a new pool owner when it was constructed, the sales person did not proactively offer well-needed advice....recommendations that would have been very prudent and basic to a first-time pool owner. Am I proud of my pool? NO. Would I use another pool contractor? ABSOLUTELY, without question or hesitation. Any contact with California Pools & Spas was fruitless.....they built the pool and were paid in full.....and could not have cared less.
