Outlook amusements (California Psychics) is the worst company to work for. They do not care about their employess, and will fire you over hearsay. Their customer service department is completly a joke. Management is lazy and does not do their job.
They allow their CSR to run the call center,with no real direction given or policies or guidelines to follow. The psychics are a joke andthe customers who call in are a real pain in the a*s! Supervisors are idots and all are not on the same page. Take for example, Mark, a Supervisor in CS is always throwing ppl under the bus and wll not back his fellow supervisors authority or decisions to a customer who is whinning or complaining. He hardly ever works and refuses to take escalated calls from upset customers.
Managers in CS know about problem reps, however they overlook the fact that a rep is causing problems on the floor with other reps for no reason, and when complaints are bought to their attention, they get scared to confront or handle the situation. This type of behavior only jepordizes the customer service being given to the customers.
Carlos Fletes is VP of customer service, however he does not do a great job in his position as VP. He is suspose to leadhis department by example...NOT!!! He's a total joke along with Joyce, Director of customer service and Vicky Rifkin, Senior manager of customer service. Vicky is a complete joke! She has been with the company for about 3 yrs, and still don't know her job.
They are sneaky and vindictive. I worked my a*s off for this company, slaving hard. They smile in your face and stab you in your back when your not looking. I was discharged, not because I failed to meet my job duties, but because management was lazy and refused to investigate complaints. They made a huge mistake and tried tocover their end by letting me go. The reason they gave me was ridicolous, they honesly didn't have a valid reason as to why they were letting me go. I'm glad, they did me a favor, now that I'm out from working up under devils, I can now put my experience to use for a company who admires their employees.
To anyone who is thinking about working for Outlook Amusements (California Psychics) beware of the childish games they play there, and make sure you keep a paper trail. The customer service team is tainted and their are a lot of childish reps working there, don't fall prey to them.
They only cater to the high spending customes who spend $1000 a day or more for readings. If you want an appointment with a top rated psychic like Miriam, Red, Liam, they will bend over backwards to get those customers an appt, however if you don't spend much money, they could careless if you spoke to a psychic. Your money is not good enough if your not spending a certain amount daily.
Tim Youd and Jason Freeland and Tom, I suggest you get better management to run your CS department, since customers make the company, without customers, California Psychic would be put out of business. Just a simple suggestion from a loyal ex employee. Its a lot that go on in CS that the owners are not aware of.
