Calypso Cay Resort Scam, Fraud Kissimee florida

please do not be fooled. dont ever give out your credit details to someone you do not know. exactly the same thign happenedto me. im still fighting with the bank to get my money back. the number you called was act given to me too. it might actually be them but they just pretend as if they dont know you. that whole website given on the fone is a fake. im sorry cancel your card asap!!!! i called the number immediately i hung up they wer so cold and mean! i mean even if its the real calypso cay they would be sympathetic and actually want to clear thier name from the mud assuringyou it really wasnt them. a week after i called the number it said available frm 9 am till 10 pm mon to fri it was switch off on thursday afternoon!!! the same for about a week. i came on here and foun another number which they had given somone else. and told the lady off she wasnt at all surprised. all she wanted to know was wer i get the info from!!! so shecoul probably come here and make people like you think its real. please dont be fooled type in "calypso cay scam or fraud" on google and see for your self. the person aove is probably one of them!!!

I have family in upstate New York and also in Canada. They received calls like the one you describe. Since I lived in the area of central florida they called me. I also checked around before letting them know what I had found. It is a REAL place. Calypso Cay is located right by Disney World. It has apparently been there for about 7 years and has 4 or 5 hotels at the location and looks nice from what I could tell. I didn't know about the company but the location looks great. I told my cousin that it was a real place and he purchased a so-called "vacation package" from Calypso Cay so he could see the property, get a great deal on coming to the Orlando area with his kids and if something did go wrong, worst case he could stay with me. He got the package and used it with no problems at all. He said that they got there with no problems and the resort is beautiful. You mentioned something about Cancun or the Bahamas. What he told me was that in the "package" he bought, it included a stay at their resort and a few other destinations like the bahamas and Daytona Beach and I think he mentioned Mexico as well. He went to Daytona after Orlando and he said it was ok but nothing great and was going to go to Cancun next year since it was already paid for. He said that they work with other resorts in those areas but don't necessarily own the resort like they do in Orlando. All in all he said he had seen and heard some bad things as well about packages in general but overall this one was a great deal and he had no problems at all. I hope that helps. THe one thing he did say that he had some trouble with was with the original company that contact him about the package. This wasn't coming directly from Calypso Cay but a travel office that was promoting them. He said that after some hassle with them he contacted the resort directly and after that everything went great!
