CAMCO ripoff Livonia Michigan

I was contacted on 3-21-04 by Katherine Fisher, the message said I need to call her back right away, it concerned my SSN#, at 877-298-0845 ext.#1219. When I finally was able to get ahold of her on 3-22-04 she said they were trying to collect on a debt from 1990, 14 Years ago.

When I told her I had no idea what she was talking about she started to get irate. I had asked several times for more details about this account that she said I owed money on, all she kept saying was the system was purged but I owed $817.00. I then asked to speak to her manager, Shawn Johnson, he said if I did'nt pay it they were going to file it and it would ruin my credit. After disputing this with him he just hung up on me.

I called back after I found this site and filed a complaint with the FTC and told Katherine to send me any info on this account. She said they had, to an old address. They will have all your latest information, such as, SSN#, address, employer, and so, don't let that scare you.

Check your states Statute of Limitations
I have just started to fight this battle, I will keep everyone posted. Do your research I'm sure CAMCO is trying to scam you.
