CAMCO Capital Aquisition & Management Company ripoff called and claimed that we owed 4510 from a past credit card that was closed out. CAMCO will try to bully you into paying but won't send VERIFICATION. Rockford Illinois

CAMCO sent a letter claiming that we owed $4510 from 15 years ago on a card that didn't exist. Although required by the BBB, CAMCO refuses to provide verification of written documentation. The claim to have sent letters to you and use information about your past (addresses and SS#) to construct their argument that you owe money. However, if you put their facts together it becomes appearant they are making this up.
When they call they sound legit and are very nice, but then when you ask for verfication then they try to bully you into paying. The general manager called back and was rude and made personal attacks about my integrity, etc... to try to make you feel like you owe money.
Good luck. The BBB in Rockford IL is 815-963-2222. You will have to write them a letter or go to their website.
