CAMCO ripoff Livermore Chicago, Rockford Illinois

I received a call stating that I had an outstanding balance on a credit card from Eddie Bauer, which I have never had. They claimed that finance charges have been compiling since 1997, but they would absorb them if I paid the original balance of about $350.

I have never had an account with Eddie Bauer and when he found that the last four digits of my social security number were incorrect the guy hung up.

I felt like this was a scam and that they were hoping I would be happy to pay the original balance since they were forgiving the interest charges.
