CamCo ripoff waste of time Rockford Illinois

Josh Jones (if that is his real name) called us every Thursday like clockwork to talk to us about a debt back in 1992 that started out at a whopping $12,000 then $23,000 then they said they would settle for the cost of buying the debt at $1,200 and then the following week was "whatever amount you think is fair". I spoke with Josh about a half hour each time and even went as far as saying that I needed to speak with my pastor after I had given him my lawyers information.

He tried to throw legal terminology at me and my husband telling me to "go get your checkbook for the numbers and we can do a post dated check over the phone but it must be settled TODAY!". During every phone call I told Josh to send it to me in the mail which he stated that they had numerous times.

I have never received any mail from CamCo or any information from any debtors even close to those above amounts. This Josh told me ijn so many words that I was "paranoid because his company is legal and he wasn't a fraud" after I had told him that under no circumstances he is getting my banking information. CamCo sounds like a SCAM!
