Someone from this company contacted me today stating they were following up on a call they made last week. They said it was about A CitiBank account. I told the lady I never had a Citibank account.

She read the last 4 digits of a SS# and I told her that was not my number. She read me an address and I told her that was not my address. She gave me a name and I told her that was not my name. She then told me she would get someone who would see that I was not called again.

A man came on the line and restated the same information the lady had givemn me and I again told him that I was not the person they were looking for. He then asked told me "do you realize that since the Patriot Act, your telephone number and social security is linked together?'

He became very arrogant and I told him again that he had the wrong person. He then repeated the address he had and said that is where we are mailing the paper work. I told him to go right ahead because I don't live there.

I called the local PD and made a fraud report because I thought they were fishing for my name, address and social security number. The local PD told me the statement made about the Patriot Act was not true.

How are these people allowed to stay in business????
