Google Camden Palisades and read the very unfavorable reviews before you rent from Camden! 

The first scam - they show you a very nice unlived in model.  Make sure you see the actual unit you willl be living in!!  I wish I had because it was frought with things needing fixing.  They still won't replace the old broken refrigerator and there's no broiler pan in the oven, so bring your own.

The next scam - offering "free cable" with your rent.  You will receive a bill for not only the cable but also the water, sewer, trash and cable!  So much for free.  That total bill is $47 on top of your rent.

The next scam - they claim it's a gated community.  Yes, it is but the gates are left open all day and most of the night.  Come on in anyone, anytime!

The next scam - all over the property are little signs that read "free wifi hotspot".  So I asked the office gal how much this free hotspot really was.  Yes, it's free, but ONLY in the office and clubhouse.  The signs would lead one to believe they would get free hotspot inside their own home.

And finally, just to put it all in a nutshell because there's just too much to report here... there are flyers on the mailboxes saying to come and join them for a free breakfast.  The flyer shows lovely waffles and strawberries.  So I went to check it out... and found fruit, pastries and bagels.   That pretty much sums it all up.  Bait and switch so beware!
