Camera Center Inc Selling non-us distributed Canon Camera, no warrnaty, no service, no support Orlando Florida

This company, Camers Center, Inc., Orlando FL, sold me a Canon EOS 1200D camera as a significant upgrade to current Canon EOS Ti.  This is not an upgrade, only a silghtly improved camera that is not distributed, sold or supported by Canon USA.  We were told by the sales person prior to the sale, this was a USA camera by Canon, had a 2 year warranty, with out trade in, cost would be $799.  After the sale, I checked directly with Canon, camera is not imported to the US, not sold by Authorised Canon Dealers in the USA and Canon would not support the warranty or service the camera. Like others I tried to return less than 24hrs after purchase, and the store staff refused repearted request to accept the return and refund/credit my card account.  All of the attempted return process was video taped for use in filing a complaint with FL Secratary of State, The State Attorney General (I am over 60, and andditional laws are applied to consumers over 60), to Canon USA for fraudulant dealer of Canon products, to American Express for offering credit services to a business that has more than a 9 year history of fraudulant or deceptive business practices (according to on line Rippoff report, Florida Better Business Buerau and to online consumer comments).

In researching the Florida state rceords for businesses in Florida, over the last 15 years Mr Cohen and Mr Haddid have been partners or served together on more than 15 different Corporate or LLC businesses. When comparing their history together, with the busineses they have operated and the consummer complaints filed against these varried businsses, the State and Cerdit Card compaines should be taking a closer look at importing products that may be in volation of Federal law, consumer protection laws regarding bait and switch sales practices, misrepresentation and fraudulant sales practices against the elderly.

I hpoe to have more to follow up on this over the next several months or years, unitl this busines and related business are closed.  If you are going to Orlando, do not make any purchases at Camera Center, Inc.and be careful at other related stores.
