FotoConnection Ripoff Bait and Switch False Advertising hard sells Great Neck New York

Company advertised Canon S410 camera as being $349 plus shipping. Camera was ordered on 3/22/04. Company called the next day asking that I confirmm the order. After confirming my CC number, the company said the camera was refurbished and I can upgrade the warranty for $59. They also said I was getting a Japanese version instead of US and can pay $375 instead of $349.

I informed them that this was bait and switch. after cancelling the order, I called back to complain. Spoke to another person who said my order was on backorder and that I can upgrade to the US version for $399. I told them I thought their operation was a sham and he immediately "transferred me to sales", which was a voicemail.
