I can say without a shadow of a doubt that this company is a sham.  There are hundreds of other complaints as well as lawsuits filed against them.

To start, I was contacted in regards to a vacation to Cancun and Miami.  I was told I'd only have to pay $399 plus a $69 booking fee.  The original person I spoke with told me I could take my Miami vacation in July and I was guaranteed that date as there are no blackout dates.  I fell for their scheme and authorized a downpayment of $199 to be debited from my account a few days later.  It turned out that they could not get me that date and only lied just to get my credit card info.

I was also told by a rep named Judith that she would call me first before debiting my account....that didn't happen.  She called after debiting my account.  I called their customer service department and we even listened to the call together that was recorded where she stated she would call me.  The rep then said he didn't hear her say that during the recording so I had him play it back multiple times.  Surprisingly, Judith called me on the other line and I told her I wanted a refund to which she said ok and hurried up and got off the phone.  I switched back over and told the customer service rep and he asked for a confirmation number but none was given.

He then called Judith to which she lied and said she didn't authorize a refund but then called me back and said she would give a refund.  Then 5 mins later she called back again and said her system wouldn't allow her to give a refund and I would have to contact customer service to get it.  At this point, I knew I wasn't getting one so I called my credit card company to dispute the charge.  Days later, Cancun Vacations debited my account again and I also found out they were going to debit my account on June 16th without my permission.

Sadly, this company is located in Cancun, Mexico so legal action against them is pretty much useless.  Don't EVER use their service.  I've lost $199 but it was a good lesson learned.  Never deal with vacation companies in Mexico.

Situation Rectified

I do thank the company for refunding my money and that's the only thing I thank them for.  Sadly it took a friend of mine that works for a major news network to get involved for them to step up and do the right thing, otherwise I would've been out $199.00.

My advice to anyone that does business with this company, make sure that ANY and EVERYTHING that is said by their company is recorded.  I was promised multiple things not even mentioned above but the only thing that was recorded was them getting my credit card info.

My advice to this company is, you need to start recording the entire call from beginning to end.  Your sales reps promise people anything and pull a bait & switch tactic at the last minute.  That is seriously unethical and you know it otherwise you would not have as many complaints out there.  If your reps have to lie to "make the sale", then maybe they're in the wrong business.  Sorry, I will never travel with you in the future.  My trust is beyond broken.

Refund Issued

We, as a company, go above and beyond to ensure that every person who buys a vacation package, whether from us directly or from a third party company who sells our travel products, receives and is able to enjoy each destination provided under their specific vacation package.  Most vacation packages sold by non-related companies will have blackout dates applicable to travel.  We, however, are proud of the fact that our vacations do not have any blackout dates.

This way our guests can enjoy their vacations on the dates they choose.  Reservations are, however, based upon availability, which is clearly stated prior to our vacation packages being sold.  Unfortunately, July, the month you chose, is a heavily traveled month for us since our resorts are typically traveled by families and July is a month during which children are not attending school.  In these circumstances we are happy to put you on a waiting list in the event of a cancellation or, alternatively, you can choose to travel at a different time.

With regard to charges to credit cards, our comapny adheres to a strict policy of recording the verification process prior to making charges to a credit card, both for your protection and that of our company.  During the verification process, the details of the vacation package, the amount of the charge being made that day and the details of any applicable payment plan are all explained and recorded.

We have been offering promotional vacation packages at discounted prices for over 10 years and have received in excess of 150 satisfied vacationing families each week.  Customer satisfaction is and has always been our first priority.  We are sorry that your travel plans could not be changed so that you could choose alternate days on which to enjoy your vacation with us, as we assure you that you would have had an amazing stay.  We have processed a full refund to you and hope that you will consider purchasing a vacation package from us in the future when your travel dates are more flexible.

Sincerely,

QUALITY CONTROL
