Canon ripoff no such help address as provided to me from Frys to get an installation disk for my newly purchased Canon S820 Printer. Very Frustrated ripoff customer NO service Frys Canon, USA internet
*Consumer Suggestion: Have you tried reading the manual?
I just bought a new Canon S820 printer and the installation disk was missing. I went back to the store (Frys) to get a disk but was given a web address to communicate my needs to
(www.hotfiles.com/software_details.asp?r=1386).
The address I was given could not be located, and when I searched for Canon customer service on the web, there was none. My printer won't work without set up. I guess I will need to package the printer up and try to return it to the store. What a waste of my time.

#1 Consumer Suggestion
Have you tried reading the manual?
AUTHOR: Matthew - (U.S.A.)

I understand that the driver diskette for your Canon S820 printer was missing.
Did you look in the manual? On the inside front cover of my manual for the printer, Canon lists their website address, an 800 number for automated tech support, and a fax number.
On page 54 of the manual, in the "troubleshooting" section of the manual, are four technical support telephone numbers for Canon.
I'm quite sure that if you used Canon's real webiste, or their real phone number, Canon will correct the problem.
Blaming Canon for a Fry's employee that gave you the wrong web address is blaming the wrong party.
