Another consumer bitten! I have to contact my bank tomorrow to try to have the charges reversed. Just like most of the rest of you, they didn't allow the full 7-day trial before taking the money out of my acct.

Does anyone have the number to Hartford Auto Club??? I'm worried about that charge coming out, and I have too much going on with my checking acct to simply close it.

Any suggestions???

From a Capital First victim's post, who tried to reach Hartford Auto Club. (Btw, there is NO Hartford Auto Club. I mean the only service they provide to charge your account.)

"Now I have a charge for $99 from the "Hartford Auto Club" -- I don't even have a car! I called the H.A.C. number on my bank statement - there was actually an option that said "Press eight if your call is about the $99 charge on your account..." (Unbelievable!). They said they will 'investigate' the charge on my account, and it may take 15 days to get a refund. Also, the operator told me that I may be charged by FIVE other companies that were a 'bonus' from Capital First."

Please, do not wait until these "bonuses" hit your account...

You can read literally thousand of report on Capital First on the Net. None of them report any succesful cancellation. None of them report getting refund.

ALL report are about three withdrawal $29, $59, $99, usually hitting the victim's account before the promised date.

There is no way to prevent the charges to reach your account other than to close immediately your account.

You may try to stop charges from Capital First, but they will try again under different names with different amounts. You may try to stop all the electronic withdrawals, but how about your legit withdrawals?

Your bank can get back your money, but Capital First will hit again and again.

Capital First is NOT a bank, not a financial institute, but a bunch of criminals with always changing names, poboxes, calling centers. They do not have cancellation, refund or any other policy.

Your bank can reroute your legit checks, withdrawals to a new account. Go to your bank, ask them what to do.

If Capital First already hit your account, fill a dispute form for unathorized charges, your bank can get back your money.

Please, read back a couple of other posts on Capital First, and you will see the problem much more clearly.
