Capital Management/ Augustus Popo Augustus Popo Roofing Scam in Saint Lucia Saint Lucia, West Indes Internet

A gentleman by the name of Augustus Popo goes around pretending to be a contractor for a company by the name of Capital Management Roofing. He provides you with a estimate with the amount he can do your roof then he show different jobs he has completed samples everything as if he is really a contractor he request a deposit for the materials providing a receipt explaining how the materials will be delivered he came back about four different times, he came back to measure the roof, not to mention my husband was just having a general conversation with him about some seafood he said he knew where to get some. Mr. Popo brought back he wanted money for it which was no problem. Mr.Popo kept in contact with my husband until the materials were supposed to be delivered then the problem started he went blank. After waiting s few days calling him no answer, I decided to go to the police. I am not sure how he knows who is building an neither does the police. Upon my visit to the Chousiel police station to make the report about the situation they appear to already know of him. I was told to go to the Micoud Station because that is the area he resides. After calling the Micoud Station I was told it's nothing they can do I would need to consult an attorney and they were well aware of his scams. Then she stated they can't make him or do anything to him, which is fine but at least provided this information to the public. In research, before my husband gave him the money I did not find any information regarding him on the Internet except the death of his father which he told us about which is the only outlet to protect yourself from situations like this. I just do not want anyone else to fall victim to this madness.
