I wrote a letter close to this to Capital One trying to resolve this problem.

To Whom It May Concern,

What a shame it is that a company from another country is attempting to charge me for an item I did not use nor did I want. I did not receive the item or the use of the item they are charging me for. In response to the letter from you requesting additional information pertaining to the chargeback I requested from you.

1. (Signed dated letter stating the reason for cancellation/return and why you are due credit.) I do not feel I cancelled the scooter from Lucaya Watersports. I am due the credit because I never used the scooter for the time I am being charged for.

2. (State whether the merchandise was to be delivered or to be picked up.) The item was to be picked up. I did not receive the item for the days I was charged for.

3. (Your efforts to resolve the dispute directly with the merchant.) I explained to the merchant that I did not want to rent the scooter.

4. (A cancellation number provided to you by the merchant and proof you cancelled the service according to the merchants policy.) The merchant had no cancellation policy.

5. (A credit receipt guaranteeing credit to your Capital One account.) None was given to me. Just a signed receipt showing that I did not rent the scooter.

6. (Signed proof of return of merchandise if applicable.) Attached is a copy of my receipt showing I did not have the moped during the time they charged me for it.

I beg you not to let this company charge me for an item I did not use and did not want. The company was not harmed in any way shape or form by my actions. I please ask for your understanding in this matter and ask that you give me the relief I am asking for in the amount of $330 from Lucaya Watersports.
