Complaint Review: Capital one
Capital one Jose Charlie Mercado Very Rude, unprofessional, and Poor customer service Tampa Bay Florida
Hello, I don't know where to begin, I have been in the processing of building my credit and I have been spending a bunch of time on my Credit Karma. I noticed some of their suggestive links before but never really investigted. Until onr day I decided to click on the button and read up on it to discover that Credit Karma suggested I wait, which was the extent of my efffort in looking into capital one.
Then 2 days later I come to realize that Capital one has done 2 hard pulls to my credit (Transunion and Equafax).
Which caused my score to drop as well. I called in to get assistance with this issue and I received nothing but a defensive attitude for pretty much the whole staff. Two of them have left extra special lasting impreddions with me of there attitude which has motivated me to WARN people to stay away from this organization if at all possible. I try to be pretty understanding and maybe I am just a little old school or maybe its because I have been in customer service and sales for over 20yrs but I believe people in their respective roles should be able to meet the requirments of the position or you just shouldn't do it. The first one JOSE CHARLIE MERCADO gave me one of the worst attitudes I have ever experienced and was doing everything short of calling me a lier and insulting me. In addition he was sure to throw in Sarcasm snicjers and laughter, which I'm glad to see my problem amused him. After not getting anywhere with him I asked to speak to his suprivisor he told me he can not do that and I would have to leave a msg. I told him due to the importance of this situation and his lack of help I would like to speak to another person today!(He then gets another manager)
The second guy, ALEX HERANDEZ was just as defensive as the rest of them exept he carried a special skill of over talking you when you were in mid sentence with a condesending tone. The funnt thing before this "GLITCH" with Credit Karma and Capital One I was going to apply for the card in a month or so .....LOL (NOW NEVER)
I don't know about you but to me customer service is important and when a company or a BANK fails to enforce this it tells me they not oly do not care about you money they do not care about YOU !
Aftermath: I still have to dispute this through the Credit Bureau and I'm guessing I will have more luck in making progress.
(Also as a side note I was approved but would never carry credit here after what I just went through, If you have been considering them, I'd stay AWAY. If you already are with them ....Well ......GOOD LUCK !!!
