If they have links to supposed independent agencies, check to make sure it is really an independent agency and that it is really the OFFICIAL i.e. legit. internet site for that independent agency #2 it probably doesn't make much sense to get a credit card that charges an annual fee up front, #3 Try using a mastermoney or visa check cashing type card through your bank and work with a local bank to build your credit in that way, working your way up to a "real" credit card #4 If you do get a credit card to build your credit, then please spend only what you can MORE than easily pay off every month. #5 If E-Credit Solutions/Capital Credit or any company falsely reports information on your credit report, be sure to dispute it with the credit reporting agencies such as Experion, etc. I hope this helps.
