  I posted my car for sale on craigslist. I received a text message from a phone number that I later reversed looked up to see it was a Los Angeles, CA number. The person said they were interested in my car. They asked if I had ever run information on it before. They said they did not want to buy a lemon and asked me to please run the information on a link that was sent me to www. Carhistoryforme.com. It cost me $13. I figured I would buy it so I would have it if anyone else asked me. I got skeptical after I looked back at the text and realized It was it was a scam! Now I'm concerned about my credit card number being tampered with. I see I am not the only one this is happened to. Beware if you're selling your car on craigslist!
