Total Appearance Won't stand behind work they do. Lawrenceville Georgia

I have a 2004 Ford F150 SuperCrew that I purchased in February of 2008.In March of 2008 I had some accessory work done on the vehicle (installed tow hitch, spray in bed liner, all weather floor mats and window tinting - roughly $1k worth of work).I had all of the work done at one location - Total Appearance/Line-X on Chamblee Tucker Road, Atlanta, GA. The truck was sent up to Total Appearance in Duluth to be tinted.All of the work with the exception of the window tinting was done to a satisfactory level.

After the adhesive cured under the tint, I noticed a lot of trash under the tint.While I should have gone in sooner to have the work done, I waited until I had more free time to take the vehicle back to Total Appearance.

Today, August 22nd at roughly 10:30 am, I arrived at the Total Appearance location in Duluth, GA as this is the location that actually performed the tint work.I spoke with who I assume is the Manager/Owner Billy Abrams. I showed Billy the areas that needed to be addressed (all 3 rear windows and the passenger side front window). Billy's first statement was this "Well, there's going to be some variance, no tint job is perfect."Billy agreed to the passenger side front window and 1 of the rear windows.He stated on one of the rear windows he could not even see what I was talking about.I tried to explain to him that I can see it and even tried to point it out to him. Billy essentially ignored me. He said he would take care of 2 of the windows, but not the other two because they were so minor and not noticable.I went ahead and scheduled an appointment for next week, which I am actually going to cancel.

Just to confirm that I am not crazy, I stopped by two more auto tint locations on the way back home.Both shops agreed that all of the windows that I pointed out needed to be replaced, and one shop even pointed out some other poor tint work that I didn't even notice yet. I feel that Billy has no concern for his customers and does not back up his own shop's work.

At this time, I am going to document the poor work with photos for reference. Then since the shop refuses to make their work good, I will remove the tint personally and take my vehicle somewhere else to have the work done.
