Car Rental 8 - Dollar Rent A Car They charged me for a Luxury SUV which I reserved and provided me a Mini Van. They would not credit the difference Tampa, Florida Nationwide

 I contacted Car rental 8 after looking online to rent a car. I booked a Ford Explorer as I was traveling with 5 people in my party. Shortly after I received my confirmation, I received the "amp" call. I was told that unfortuantley they did not have the explorer available and I could upgrade to a Chevy Surburban if I chose. 

I decided to upgrade as I did not want to down grade. Upon arriving at my destination at almost midnight PST, I was directed to a Dollar Rent a Car. I arrived to pick up my Checy Surburban that I was charged close to 1200.00 for my 10 day stay. The manager informed me that they did not have a surburban for me to rent. I would have to take a Dodge Caravan which is rented for the same time period for 500.00

I was told repeatedly that I would not have to pay the same money for a Caravan that I would pay for a Surburban.. 

I have repeatly disputed this charge with my credit card company and Car Rental 8 keeps responding with nonsense about lack of contact

So be aware of the fine print.. If you show up to your destination and it is out of the time zone that they are in or after their business hours you are going to get the shaft on the money that you are paying and will most likely get a different vehicle you paid for.
