I'm not even sure of where to start about this company. I bought a vehicle from there less than 2 months ago and have already had to put over $4,000 of work into it. I should have known the dealership wasn't legit when I walked in and the place smelled like Marijuana was the air freshener that they used.

When the salesman was in the process of strongly convincing me to buy a vehicle from them, he assured me that EVERYTHING would be covered under warranty except for brakes and tires. When I take my vehicle to them for repairs, I am told that I need to buy the parts MYSELF. They do not fix anything whatsoever. The check engine light has been on since I left the car lot and when I take it to them for repairs, all they do is reset the light and it goes off for about an hour only to come right back on.

I had a blow out on my vehicle within a month of having it. When I took it to a tire shop, they told me that the dealership should be embarrassed for letting a vehicle leave their lot with tires in that poor of a condition. I had ANOTHER blow out a week later and the other two tires are ready to give away at any moment.

While waiting at the dealership one day for my vehicle to get looked at by the horrible mechanic named Bobby, another customer came in raising h*ll because her vehicle stalled on her a FEW times right after they sold it to her. This place needs to be SHUT DOWN. They sale nothing but fulty cars that are WAY overpriced with extremely high mileage. The owner does NOTHING to accomodate his unsatisfied customers. Instead, he just sits in his office high as a kite and just nods his head when you talk to him.

All they want is your money for a LEMON that they've sold to you and taken off of their hands for YOU to deal with. DON'T EVER GO TO THIS PLACE FOR ANYTHING - YOU'LL END UP DEPRESSED AND STRESSED IN NO TIME!

Test drive, huh?

Since when does a test drive equate to having a car INSPECTED by a mechanic you trust before you buy?
Very expensive lesson.

By the way, nobody here is defending this wretched car lot. They merely want you to see how you ripped yourself off as much, if not more, than they did you, by being extremely careless in buying the car.

Those who might be spared the agony of buying from this place, must also learn what NOT to do, exemplified by your errors, if this thread is ultimately to be of use to anyone.

As you stated, they evidently were able to keep resetting the idiot light, apparently long enough to get through a typical test drive.

As for warranty, did they give you anything in writing stating the warranty coverage?

Legally, no warranty exists past the point where you sign the contract, unless it is in writing.

Sorry you got burned, but if you and others who shop for cars as you did continue to shop the same way, the next dealer will likely do the same crap to you.

Anyone commenting MUST be an employee

So, I must be an employee?  Really?  I don't even live in the same state.  I love how someone is shown how they didn't get screwed, but how they screwed up, and "You must be an employee" is the stock answer.

Realize you screwed up.  Yes, they might have cars with high mileage and bad tires.  Yes they might be overpriced.  But, it's idiots like you that keep them in business.

Taken ownership of YOUR error(s) for once!  Be a grown up, not a juvenile who has a small grasp on the verbage they are trying to use.

I never bought a used car, but I would feel frustrated as well if the same situation happened to me. However, I would not completely blame the dealer because I understand why a used car is sold as-is. In prevention of the condition, I would be expected to be responsible for it.

In your case, you assume that EVERYTHING would be fine from the word of the salesman. This is always a NO NO. The thing is, you must read the contract, not listen to the salesman because the seller has nothing to lose but only gain from selling you a car regardless its condition. Once you sign a contract, the seller's words go down the toilet and you can't bring them back to support your claim.

Also, please get out of the mind set labelling people who replied to you as those who work for the company. Seriously, you are here to make a report and rebuttal, not here to be a straw man. It shows how narrow minded you are.

The car drove just fine when I did the test drive. No check engine light or anything. Apparently these used car dealerships have some type of way to cover up lemons just long enough for a customer to sign the sales contract and drive off of the lot. And by the way, whoever is posting comments must work for the place because you seem to be quite offended looking at what you posted in the comments. :-) Yes, someone FINALLY put your faulty business out there.

You should be embarrassed that you were foolish enough to operate a vehicle with tires in poor condition."cars that are WAY overpriced with extremely high mileage"

You knew that when you purchased the vehicle. You could have spent your money in a wiser fashion if you had used some common sense, inspected the tires, and not purchased a vehicle with the check engine warning light on.

If they are so overpriced with such high mileage, how is it that you agreed to buy one?    Usually when something is "overpriced" that means the price is higher than a buyer is willing to pay.  The fact that you did not think so (as evidenced by your purchase) would seem to let the air right out of your claim.   Same with the mileage.  

Next time, don't buy an "as is" car without getting it checked out.   Sometimes you get lucky and there's nothing wrong with the car, but do you really want to roll the dice every time you buy a car?  Eventually, as you've found out, they come up snakeeyes.

You were coerced in to buying a car?

Hardly.

You BOUGHT a vehicle without having it checked out by a mechanic of your choice before you bought it.

All sales are AS IS unless they give you a warranty, or you buy one.

They tell you this up front.

You paid for it, you will keep paying for it, because you DIDN'T pay to get it checked first.
