I wanted to accept online payment, so I signed up with linkpoint, first data, and card service international. All these 3 companies are separate individual, but they are working together. I've received my first deposit from linkpoint on Thursday, but there's no deposit on Friday. So, I called linkpoint and they told me to call card service, the rep. there told me that my account has been closed, and they also hold my payments around $5000. Those are my customers' payments that they hold. They won't release the money and they won't refund it back to my customers, they said they can hold it up to 4 weeks.

They said they are concerned about high risk and id theft, but I'm a good seller and I faxed them all the information they requested. I think the real reason they closed my account because I made alot of sales, over $1000 a day. And that considers high risk, how?!!! I'm very upset and I don't know what to do. Any idea to get my money faster without spending alot of money? Please help.

I work for First Data itself, not the affiliate that sell our products/services. I apologize for the service you received. As you can imagine, there are people in this company and industry, just like every other company/industry, that can give the rest a bad impression. I have been a customer service fanatic for my clients since starting at First Data years ago. If you haven't got your challenge resolved yet, PLEASE let me know. I will tell you EXACTLY how to get it handled. I'm not saying that just to be cheesy. I know there are things that happen that make a small percentage of our customers unhappy. Since I plan on retiring here, I want to insure that before I do so, I leave as many people BRAGGING about the service they got here. I bet I can also save you money ongoing at the same time. You are already here....won't cost you a dime to get it fixed right!
