I was also scammed by this corrupt, identity-stealing company, Career Network Jobs.com aka. The Career-Hub.com supposedly out of Orlando, Florida. They are preying on honest individuals innocently applying for great sounding non-existent jobs. I applied for an excellent sounding job as a hospital administrator on Craigslist but I was a little suspicious because they asked for alot of additional information without ever naming the hospital. Little by little they draw you in, stealing more of your information without delivering the information you applied for. DON'T get SCAMMED by this company. They are corrupt and I have filed an FTC and police report against them.

The Career Hub: SCAM COMPANY!

AUTHOR: Discokoala - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, November 03, 2008

I also applied for a non-existent job as a Preschool Photographer through this website. The next day, I got a creepy electronic phone call telling me to call (312) 253-4877. When I tried (and I tried repeatedly throughout the day) to call that number, I only got "All circuits are busy." Then it would hang up.
Finally, I got through today, and after being on hold with a recording telling me "we are a company that verifies your identity for potential employers. This is for a job you applied for recently." Et cetera.
A man came on the phone and asked me what my home phone number was. After I told him, he hung up on me. Not a word.
I searched the internet for information about that phone number, and found a site where people were all reporting similar experiences to mine, regarding the same 312 number. They had all applied for jobs on the same website I had: www.thecareerhub.com

STAY AWAY FROM THIS WEBSITE - they are not going to help you find work, they are only going to sell your personal information, and possibly steal your identity. Beware! Ignore the stupid rebuttals by this supposed "employee" of the career hub - they just want to trick you.

Allow me the opportunity to address your concerns

AUTHOR: Career Network - (U.S.A.)

As I'm sure you have read my other responses to similar concerns on this site, I won't reiterate them here. Instead, I will address your specific concerns.

With regard to your personal information submitted on our sites: we do not ask for any sensitive personal information such as social security numbers or banking information that could be used to irrevocably harm you. Your contact information will only be transmitted to the HR department for the job for which you are applying; and to our promotional partners if, and only if, you agree to receive information from them. If you do not specifically agree to be contacted by any of our promotional partners, you will not. Not participating will not adversely affect your consideration for the listed position. As I've said before, that decision is made at the employer listing the job and we have no sway or control over it.

The jobs listed on our Web sites are collected by account executives by either directly contacting the employer, or the employer directly contacting us. Either way, they sign an agreement with us authorizing Career Network to act as an agent on their behalf to collect, and transmit to them, resumes for any open positions currently available with their company.

We list the companies confidentially to protect our revenue stream. We operate more like a recruitment company in this regard by not allowing users to circumnavigate us. This is common in the recruitment industry.

As the public relations representative of this company, I will continue to visit this site and answer any and all complaints, issues or qualms you or others may have about our Web sites and our services. We are dedicated to providing the best assistance we possibly can for your job hunt. If you have further issues, I can address them here or you can reach us at info@careernetwork.us.com . Thank you for taking the time to voice your opinion. It is valued and we do appreciate it.
