They hired me as a temp, gave me job description in writing stating it was a Supervisors Position Starting @ $10hr, paycheck reflected $8hr. I complained they said they'd fix it, three weeks went by and they never did. My electric was shut off that month and I was almost evicted because I couldn't pay my bills. Now they won't place me. I also know the owners of this company and they won't return my call. This is a company that's been around for a long time.

At first I really believed the owners weren't aware of the damage their staff was causing, and the negative reputation they were establishing. If I had the money I'd sue, just for the principle. Things are really bad right now and If you can't depend on a corporation that has been around over 20+ years to be honest when they offer compensation, where does that leave us?????? Out on the street. Shame on the Ounjian Family!!! This Company should be investigated, shut down and Jen Johnson should be disbarred!

CareersUSA shows not good company to outsource

In reading their rebuttal to my complaint about their unethical and shady business practices, its clear to see that they hold no responsibility for their actions and unscrupulous business behavior.  They reached out to my company in September and others in the City of Indianapolis to help with staffing for their Client here in Indianapolis.  My company being a small minority owned business was elated to service this Client here in Indianapolis and give hardworking individuals some temporary employement but during the 1st week of the Agreement with CareersUSA, the communication went south, even the Client addressed their communication efforts were very lacking but Labor USA as the Associate Supplier for CareersUSA commenced the onboarding of their company and worked diligently. Their so called National Account Manager didn't do a great job in communicating and keeping my company updated on billing and accounting issues as I continued to address and request to speak about in moving forward but the National Account Manager would state, "some from our billing and accounting" will get with you.  Please we need to get employees for our Client and demanded it.

As I mentioned and stated before, they are in the business of shady business practices and the Owner and General Counsel for the company, Ms. Jennifer O. Johnson is the ring leader of this family owned business.  She and her gatekeepers run an aggressive and abrasive business with a contract that is geared toward their way of doing business which eventually comes to question cause if their information has never been accurate and when you address their inaccuracies, Ms. Jennifer Johnson comes off abrusive and yells of who she is what she does instead of recitifying the problem.  

To this day since October 21st, CareersUSA have illegally retained my employees, met with them and poached them to another agency and now employees are complaining that this agency is not paying some of them that have illegally been retained without my knowledge.  And to the (3) invoices that has been submitted to CareersUSA to pay my company, they are finding all kind of faults, erros and excuses to not pay.  I actively did the onboarding and recruiting for over 100 employees for their Client here in Indianapolis and they began to work and worked many hours of which they did not wanat to pay some of these employees for their hours worked.  They approved to fund my payroll and didn't submit correct amount to pay the employees of which that caused my business bank account to go into the -negative and still refuse to pay my company for the mandated hours and work we provided.

Ms. Johnson continues to threatened to call police, speak negative and derogatory to and about my employees and now the new agency is repeating the defamation and slander spoken by Ms. Johnson to my employees that I hired for their Client. The employees are reporting their issues about it and its truly disturbing.

Ms. Johnson has yet and refused to produce and show any proof of my wrong doings or errors mention in her rebuttal and I continue to request my invoices to be paid unpon receipt to move on.   I am seeking ligitation as well cause CareersUSA has many complaints for their ongoing shady business practices over the years and the staff is frightened of her too.  

To target a small business like mine and to tear down it down with threats and not compensate us for our works versus work out the issues and move forward is been very overwhelming in dealing with this Contractor, CareersUSA.  They are based in Florida and is used to have other national locations throughout the country that they don't have now and the ongoing court reported filings of suits shows why.  I refused to allow this large company to take my company out with their derogatory baggering and big business threats. Me and my small staff worked hard for this Contractor, CareersUSA and the employees we brought onboard did not deserve this kind of treatment by this company in regards to LaborUSA providing them some stable employment.  

Any of the internal issues with my company were being addressed and handled in a timely fashion and CareersUSA and Ms. Johnson knew this but now what to use it as a weapon to attack my business character which is not professional.  

This behavior must stop and Ms. Johnson come across like she and her company is the victims, this is not highly so.  The cyber bullying, email threats and harassment started with CareersUSA in regards to not sitting down with me and my company to resolve this manner like professionals.  The ongoing derogatory comments to their Client, my employees and on any media published to a third party is a result of the many malice and prejudice actions of CareersUSA.  

In regards to involving the police, she and her company can feel free to call the police but its only right for me and my company to address ongoing allegations and negative attacks.  Ms. Johnson has shown to be a liar and willing to deceive the public of what is already been addressed about this company unethical business practices over the years and she being the Counsel and Owner of the Company, doesn’t look too good for CareersUSA either.  You cannot be “wrong and strong” for your own untruthful purposes and cause financial harm to small businesses who deserve a chance to serve their community. 

 

I too to have employees to pay, bills to pay from this agreement, staff to compensate and they continue to run my employees through another agency and not pay my company.  Its so unheard of and all I ask is to have my invoices paid immediately and move on from this nightmare of doing business these people out of Boca Raton, Florida.

False Statements Aimed to Deflect Blame from Labor USA

It is not right that Labor USA wrote this review about CareersUSA that is filled with all of these untruths when CareersUSA was the one that helped them and their employees when they did not have funding to pay their own people, nor insurance to cover them.  CareersUSA is NOT affiliated with Labor USA, nor do that have any association as far as employing their people.

 

LaborUSA could not calculate and pay their employees overtime correctly.  They over and underpaid people. These issues were not CareersUSA's, but the fault of Labor USA, the legal employer, who is now attempting to deflect blame from its own shortcomings in defense of its appalling actions.  Labor USA failed to have insurance and proper funding before accepting this assignment. Labor USA did not read the terms of the contract to see what the payment terms were and then attempted to knowingly place people in jobs without having funds to pay them.  Instead of using her own money, the CEO of LaborUSA threatened CareersUSA and its client with pulling all of the associates from working and not pay them.  She used duress to extort money from CareersUSA and when it was discovered that she was paying people the wrong rates, the wrong hours worked and also not calculating overtime correctly, she became belligerent and aggressive. 

 

LaborUSA provided erroneous payroll records to CareersUSA and unprofessional invoices filled with errors.  Labor USA also did not pay her taxes to the government as required.  CEO, Yolanda Lamar of Labor USA also wrote worthless checks when she knew she did not have funds in the account. Many of these checks bounced and instead of helping her own employees she told these associates that CareersUSA froze her bank account. CareersUSA has no ability to freeze accounts.  She was also recorded by her own associates when she met people at McDonald's to hand out the worthless checks. Here is where she treated her employees unprofessionally and made defamatory remarks about the client and CareersUSA.  This review is nothing but an attempt by an angry person who was wrong and cannot manage their business affairs correctly. It cannot and will not be condoned.  There are many witnesses and emails documenting your actions

 

This behavior must stop. It is cyber bullying and harassment to write defamatory comments on any media published to a third party. The police have been notified.  You cannot use public and social media for your own untruthful purposes and to cause harm to good companies.

We are very sorry that you felt mislead by an assignment you took. CareersUSA has been in business for over 36 years and enjoys a great reputation nationally.  We are always sorry to hear if someone had a different experience. Always, contact the Human Resources or Legal team if you have any issues in the future.  

After looking into your file, we understand, Stacy, that you had a personal issue that precluded you from working due to failure to follow drug screening protocol and you were released from your assignment because of it.  I do not see anything in your file regarding a complaint as to your pay. However, I do see where you called in asking for a loan and if someone would help you with a personal loan. Obviously, CareersUSA is not in the business of lending money. If you did try to contact the owners of the company, we do not see any record of this through system notes or emails. We are very sorry that you felt you were ignored but I believe this was an oversight.

We wish you the best and hope that you are doing better.

Unethical Business Practices continues

In reading your report, I am now more disturbed because now my Company is seeking litigation with this company who sought out my business and now refusing to pay my Company for the services we rendered to over 100 employees seeking and received employment opportunities with a creditable business here in my community.

Also in reading your report, they have also refused to pay my temporary employees assigned to this Client for the work and overtime they occurred while working and now refusing to pay me and my Company because of it. This Company has illegally and with deliberation retained my employees to service this client under my Contract with CareersUSA. So unheard of in this industry!

And to know and research how long this company been in existence and how they go all over the world doing business and treat people like they have need to know there are repercussions and consequences for their unethical business practices in doing business.  I don't care where they are. We want to get paid and relinguish our ties.

This needs to go viral and be addressed cause now they are at it again.
