Looks like you had the individual plan for $75/yr.  When you initially joined Careington you should have been told that membership renewals are automatic each year.  I beliebe it's also written in the terms of your membership application.  One month prior to your expiration date, Careington mails members a letter informing you that your membership will automatically renew if you do nothing.  If you do NOT want to renew, all you had to was call the customer service number on your ID card and let them know not to renew your membership.

Sometimes people miss the letter though.  It happens.  Just call customer service and ask for a pro-rated refund.  The corporate office is very keen on keeping members and ex-members happy! Contacting your bank is not the correct action.  Contact member services for payment issues.
