I LOOKED FOR ANY SCAM REPORTS BEFORE I WENT AHEAD WITH THIS CRUISELINE. NOW TODAY I FOUND SOME AFTER I HAVE A COMPLAINT....Basically the cruise line mail out ticket mail to anyone because their promoting there new cruise.I got mines on 5-09-09.I called them back got information about the many promotion packages and was impressed. It was said i have up to 18 months to go to 3 different trips 3 different times. I was giving the impression the reason I HAD TO GIVE MY CREDIT CARD INFORMTION was to be in the system showing i was apart of this promotion package. When i was ready to travel they would already have my information and take the money out . I was told how much money m credit card would be charged for the two people and i said ok. I did not KNOW they would take that amount out right away.
It wasnt till i got my credit card statement on 6-15-09 that i saw they took the full amount already. I was shocked because i hadnt even decided when i was going and who i was bringing.I have upto 18 months to plan this and they took the money out already. now their telling me that i gave them the ok to take the money out that night..why would i or anyone else give the ok way WAY before the trip is decided. I GAVE THE OK THAT I KNEW HOW MUCH MONEY WILL BE TAKEN OFF MY CREDIT CARD FOR TWO PEOPLE WHEN I WAS ALL SET TO TRAVEL. Now the man is telling me their a pre-paid non refundable cruiseline. I would except that if i went ahead and told them when i was going and paper work was set in motion but even with that you have 60 days to tell them if you cant make the trip and need to re-schedule.
I DIDNT EVEN GET TO THE PART WHERE I KNEW WHEN AND WHERE I WAS GOING AND THIS IS WHY IMCOMPLAINING. THEY TRY TO TELL YOU HOW EVERYTHING IS AUDIO TAPE AND THAT I AM AWARE OF.BUT I WASNT GIVING THEM THE OK TO TAKE MONEY OFF MY CARD THAT GIVEN HOUR ...THAT WOULD BE STUPID.THATS LIKE YOU PAYING FOR TWO PEOPLE ..YOUR UNPREPARED NOT EVEN KNOWING WHEN YOUR READY TO TRAVEL ,THEN DECIDING WHO YOU WANT TO TAKE ,THEN MAKE THEM PAY FOR IT .ITS FALSE PROMOTION!!!!!!!!

The man said he cant give the full amount back he'll give back half THE MONEY if its too much ON MY CREDIT CARD FOR NOW and when i was ready to travel just pay the other half.WELL OF COURSE I WOULD PAY NO TRIP IS FREE.BUT WHY ARE YOU TAKING MONEY IF NO TRAVEL DATE IS SET!!
PLEASE HELP PLEASE HELP

#2 UPDATE EX-employee responds

You didn't listen...

AUTHOR: J K - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, March 11, 2010

During the call, you were informed that, in order to purchase the package for $798, you needed to act TODAY. Your credit card is charged TODAY (which is the point of giving the CC info), BUT you have 18 months from TODAY to call customer service and set a date for your trip. That's how it works, but you didn't listen.

#1 Consumer Suggestion

Never give your credit card number to a telemarketer

AUTHOR: Karl - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, October 31, 2009

If you give a credit card number to a telemarketer he will immediately charge your card. Ask for material to be mailed to you. If it is legitimate offer he will do this. If it isn't he won't. Caribbean Cruise Line operates an ex-North Sea ferry to Nassau on 2 and 3 day cruises. It is a cut rate casino cruise and the line is giving away cruises - not including fuel surcharge, Bahamas port tax, govt. tax etc etc etc. If it was such a great cruise they would be turning people away. How many cruises does Carnival, Royal Caribbean etc give away? Caribbean Cruise Line used to be Imperial Majesty -famous for hundreds of ROR complaints and is tied into Ramada Plaza Resorts, the home of second rate hotels and "free" vacations to push timeshares. If you recieve a call from any of these organizations just laugh and hang up.
