Carl WAGNER has failed to pay child support for over two years for three children from his last marriage.
As of this writing, WAGNER is delinquent over $30,000. A criminal case was filed in May of 2009 in Riverside County Superior Court where WAGNER failed to appear and a warrant was subsequently issued. WAGNER's driver's and contractor's licenses were suspended due to the issuance of the warrant. An attorney appeared on WAGNER's behalf and was able to negotiate the re-instatement of the licenses pending the outcome of the hearings. The arraignment has since been postponed twice more with WAGNER still yet to appear to face the charges in court.
According to the California State Contractors Licensing Board, regarding Contractors License Number 897674, "The license may be suspended at a future date for failure to comply with one or more provisions of law."
This is important for consumers and potential clients to know. If and when this case is finally heard, any current projects that WAGNER's Company is involved in may get delayed or never finished. That Guy Construction requires deposits for jobs and monies paid to WAGNER and may be subject to seizure by the courts to satisfy WAGNER's criminal behavior and failure to follow the order of the courts. When WAGNER's license is revoked, it will leave your project un-protected with no recourse against someone who faces potential jail time.
All of the above information is public record and can be obtained through the California Contractors State License Board's website and the Riverside County Superior Court's Website. Please don't become another victim to Carl WAGNER and That Guy Construction.

Convicted criminal Carl Jake Jacob Wagner IV is now in Orange County and working without a contractors license as Wagner General Contracting with the strong possibility of defrauding potential customers as he has done in the past. Please continue to check the California State Contrators Website to verify a license BEFORE you give any of your hard earned money to anyone claiming to be a contractor. Often times, the California State Contractors Board License website will also list the documentation that resulted in the license revocation and any subsequent criminal charges, as in the case with Carl Jacob Jake Wagner

On December 9, 2011, the Contractor's License for Carl Jake WAGNER IV was revoked by The Honorable Theodore M. Weathers in San Diego County Superior Court. Additional records indicate that WAGNER was also convicted of writing bad checks in violation of California Penal Code 476 A and theft from elder/dependend adult PC 368D. Back child support is now over $100k.

As of today's date (10/11/2010), the amount owed in back child support is now up to $60,000. It seems the State of California's budget woes have impacted their ability to collect from deadbeat parents. Regardless, collection efforts are still being made. Not one attempt to pay current support nor back support owed has been made. Check with the California State Contractor Licensing Board and the Better Business Bureau before you decide to hire a contractor to make sure you are getting the integrity and character you need for the project you are spending your hard earned money on. You can find someone with a better BBB grade than "F" and someone without the caveat of, "The license may be suspended at a future date for failure to comply with one or more provisions of law."

On December 10, 2009, Carl Jacob WAGNER IV plead guilty in Riverside County Superior Court to Contempt of Court. The back child support amount is listed as $40,045.00 as of that date. His contractor's license is now suspended according to the California State Contractors Board...Is this the right person you want for the project you intend to spend your hard earned money on?
