Carolina Carports Carports.com, Elephant Structures Buyer Beware-Carolina Carports is NOT trustworthy Dobson, North Carolina Nationwide

 Carolina Carports, and their sales channels, Elephant Structures and Carports.com, are not trustworthy.  When ordering through Elephant Structures, I was told no more than eight weeks for delivery and installation. I was even told to be very careful with other companies because they will tell you what you want to hear.  Elephant Structures takes your deposit and sends order to Carolina Carports, aka Carports.com. 

  I received a work order from Carports.com and buried in the fine print is verbiage about 90-days for deliver and install.  This is the first bait and switch.  I called after eight weeks and was told it would be another eight weeks.  I was given excuses like a delivery truck wrecked and put them behind, bad weather.  If you look up reviews, apparently this is their standard response.  After insisting on them keeping their commitment of ninety days, albeit buried in the fine print and one month longer than the verbal commitment, an appointment was made for January 5. We spoke a week in advance of install for final confirmation and they promised they would be at site first thing in morning on January 5.   I took off work and drove an hour to the intall site.  They cancelled!

  Customer Service is horrible.  If you call for order status, they'll automatically say another few weeks without even looking up order.  You will get the run-around every time you call.  They don't seem to understand or care that not living up to their commitments and canceling appointments is very inconvenient and frustrating to customers. 

  I strongly recommend you not you Carolina Carports, Carports.com, Elephant Structures (or whatever other names they go by).  This company cannot be trusted.  Their customer service is a joke.  Months will go by and you will have nothing to show for it...only wasted time and money.
