This response is really directed to Gil Winders III, who provides the websites for Mr. Privette...

I am assuming that you are the owner of your company. As the owner, I am confused with the response you gave Jim from Irvine, California. You indicated to him that you were told by the FBI that you could not shut down Mr. Privette's website unless he was convicted of a crime. This does not make sense.

As an owner of a company, you have the right to deal with anyone you choose. I would think that morally, after reviewing the many complaints on Rip Off, and knowing that the NC AG's office has 200+ complaints regarding Mr. Privette's fraudulant activities, you would refund Mr. Privette any retainer he has paid you, and ask him to find another person to host his site.

I do not believe that the FBI has the right to dictate to you the type of business practices that you have to follow.

In my opinion, you are actually as guilty as Mr. Privette in terms of providing him a platform to continue his fraudulant activities.

You really don't need to respond to this email as I, and probably all of the other victims, would have a difficult time believing anything you have to say....you know the old saying "If you sleep with the dogs, you'll get fleas".
