Carpets Of Dalton rip-off! Misrepresentation of facts! Accusation of blaming everone else. Lying Dalton Georgia

My wife and I went to Dalton, Georgia to purchase flooring for a house that we were having built in Florida. The saleman at Carpets of Dalton sold us carpet, tile and wood flooring, so the bill was cheap. When we left the store after the sale we felt really good about how the salesman had work so hard and gotten us a good deal.

Little did we know that we had fallen victim to an accomplished con man. Since then we have discovered that he misrepresented the facts about the wood flooring that we bought. 85% of the planking was comprised of boards shorter than 12 inches, he had assured us that most, if not all the boards were 30 inches or longer, he also lied about the quality of the boards. He explained that cabin grade material only meant that the boards might have more knots than the manufacture would allow in a run.

Come to find out the knots are not the problem. The planks have what I can only describe as blisters on them and they are failing or caving in, resulting in the flooring surface to crack and split. I'm not happy and as of this time I am in contact with the wholesaler where I bought the floor.

All I can say is if you go to Dalton Georgia, don't trust Carpets of Dalton to tell you the truth. If you're thinking about cabin grade, forget it. If I don't find relief from the company, I'm looking at several thousands of dollars to replace this garbage they sold me.
