Carrie Slack (A.K.A. nohope35, a seller on eBay from the UK) is not only a fraud and a rip-off artist, but a liar and slanderer to boot. I purchased a cherries applique/patch she was selling on eBay. In three separate spots on the ad for the patch, it was made to sound like money orders were an acceptable form of payment. Since I have purchased items from the UK before with International money orders in UK funds, and becausse her ad made it sound like money orders were accepted, that is how I paid, and I informed her ahead of time that that is how I would be paying.

Anyhow, she waits until she has the money order in her hands to say "I can't cash it" and demands that I send her a second payment before she will return the first payment, and even goes so far as to accuse me of calling her eBay shop a "charity" (which I never did) and threatens to rip up the money order and give me nothing. The big issue here is that she didn't want to pay a piddly little postage fee to return my money order. So, on the advice of a friend, I offered to send her a self-addressed, stamped envelope for the money order, meaning I would be paying the postage fees, not her, and she agreed to this. When that didn't work as Canada Post does not sell stamps for mailing items from the UK to Canada, I offered to send her cash for postage, but she wouldn't accept that and filed an Unpaid Item strike against me. Now she is going around slandering me on eBay, claiming that I never paid when I did (just not in a way she could use, as I was lead to believe she did accept money orders), and is claiming I never intended to pay, when I bent over backwards to try and get a payment she could cash to her.

Anyhow, I am now out the item plus approx. $9.19 CAD thanks to her. And as for this "translation service" thing she has brought up, I took it to mean language translation, and I told her that. Anyhow, I'm filing this report to warn others about her. Aside from what she did to me, she has a poor eBay track record annd lousy customer service (when another woman hassled by Carrie left negative feedback for her, Carrie responded by calling the woman a "loser". I also know from her feedbackthat another person had a similiar problem as I had with her, and this person got their cheque back, so why not me with my money order. In short, buyers should avoid this woman. She is nothing but a fraud, rip-off artist and liar who can't even follow eBay policies and rules.
