I received a marketing email stating "As shared last Tuesday, how would you like to get an easy no strings attached $50 with arguably the best descision that you'll make all year?

That is $50 from my nationally awarded and recognized independent insurance firm to simply get a quote on your Auto & Home insurance with no obligation to become a client."

I submitted all of my information and received a quote, but despite repeated attempts, including telephone, email, and a trip to the office in person, have been unable to get the agency to honor the offer.

I complied with the terms of the offer and I want the promised $50 to be mailed to my house.

I would like to inform all that read this report that was filed by DAVID M. BOSWORTH of PERRYSBURG ,OHIO against this insurance company that it should NOT be taken as any form TRUTH. I would definitely beleive Carroll Insurance companys account of what transpired as it was stated in their rubuttal DAVID M. BOSWORTH was bullying the woman at Carroll insurance company and DAVID M. BOSWORTH has an arrest record in the Perrysburg, Ohio municipal Court for Domestic Violence and the victim in that case was a handicapped woman.

Stop with the victim role playing Dave Bosworth as you were the one who started this.

Let’s again examine the facts:

1)     You did indeed get a quote and were promptly mailed your Gift Card

2)     It took you nearly two months to then inquire to where it was.  What am I supposed to think?  What would you think if you were in my shoes?

3)     To mail you again would be plain stupid on my offices part and when you inquired about this missing Gift Card nearly two months later you were shared to come on a date and at a time to get it delivered in person.  Did you agree to this date or did you hang up and not confirm?   I have a recording of this call, so answer honestly Dave

4)     You then show up and you did make a scene as a tenant and not an employee called me on my cell and asked if he could throw you out.  When I saw this tenant later that day he pulled me aside and described in detail how belligerent you were.   Again put yourself in my shoes Dave.  I am supposed to think what about you at that point?  Great female employees as I have here are like gold and they do not deserve to be bullied by men.  So when I hear this from both the employee and the tenant what should I do Dave?  Call you immediately and congratulate you for bullying a female employee?  

5)     You did not leave two messages as you are fabricating again David.  You left one message and emailed.  After that scene and as the President of the company I should drop everything to service you when I have paying clients who pay and deserve my time

6)     I did email you two days later and you didn’t like my solution which instead of being an adult and apologizing you go to the internet and hide behind manipulated fabrications.  See Dave if there is a misunderstanding when I feel wronged by a business and a female happens to be the one to hear about it when I feel wronged, if the owner of that company shared that I came off as a bully to the female, I would feel horribly and apologize.  Why didn’t you?

7)     Had you apologized then I would have gladly met you in person or couriered the card because did you not at this point refuse to come back on a date and time offered?  Of course you did

8)     Locally you have a reputation of being quirky and this from people who work with you at Huntington Bank with you as a response to you saying that you aren’t anything like my employees and my tenant are sharing.  So my employees and my tenant are out to “get” you and make up stories because why David?

9)     The other report is low blow as it is not related to my insurance business and how dare you mislead anyone to the contrary, yet that is your style as a mean vindictive panicked quirky person.  I bust my buns here.  My clients know this and doing business nationally with tens of thousands over my career and just this one “complaint” from you?

10)      And to date, have you returned my call?  And yet all you want is your $50 is what you say, yet you don’t want the $50 as I have offered it twice and you want this instead.  See it is now proven that you want is to try to injure my reputation as you work for a competitor of mine.  Entirely too convenient for anyone reading this to see otherwise

11)       And in my voice mail to you months ago, I am supposed to treat you like an old friend?   Come on Dave, you started this entire mess and it all falls on you.  Did I not offer a time and time to stop by and pick it up and did you agree to this or did you hang up and then show up anyway?  This disallowed us from going to the bank and getting a replacement card, and that is our fault?

12)       You were left a voice mail how to make this right which is to simply share in this awful forum and on Google Reviews that you overreacted and are indeed to blame for this entire mess.  As I shared in that voice mail where absolutely I was livid and still am as you unfairly have attacked my nationally awarded and recognized firm, and am doing so again in writing here, when you clear this up on this site and on Google Reviews I will personally send via courier for guaranteed delivery as I will incur more expense to ensure that you receive your $50 VISA Gift Card

In closing, if your objection is to get the $50 VISA Gift card you will acknowledge that by you make this right, otherwise your attempt to injure me is now proven.

I don't appreciate you threatening me.  I consider it a serious matter to be threatened, especially when all Im asking for is what was promised.

Your agency made an offer, I complied with the terms of that offer, and the offer has not been fulfilled by you.  It would have been a simple matter for you to fulfill your part of the offer.  Instead, you and your staff have made this simple matter extremely complicated.  The attitudes of you and your staff need to be examined.

Your 12/20/13 email reply offered no solution.  If the $50 Visa Gift Card was really mailed but lost in the mail, it should be a simple matter to cancel it and have the balance moved back to your account or to a new card.

There is no competition between your agency and my employer in this specific matter. I don't use my employer's insurance agency because they are no longer my insurance agent.  They discontinued being an agent for my insurance company around two years ago, and have so far been unable to offer a better product for me with the any of the insurance companies they currently represent.  You have the dec pages for my policies and can clearly see that my employer is not my insurance agent.  I am simply a consumer shopping for the best insurance that fits my needs for the lowest cost.  Any attempt on your part to imply otherwise is at best a transparent attempted allegation, and at worst a sign of paranoia.

Your portrayal of the 12/18/13 office visit is completely wrong.  There was no scene whatsoever, and there was certainly no bullying on my part.  You weren't even there, according to your employee.  I sat patiently for several minutes until your employee returned after claiming she was looking for the gift card.  I then asked to speak to the person that she said handles the gift cards, but was told she was at lunch. I told her I was going to contact you, and I left.

I left two voice messages at your office regarding this issue, and neither was rude or threatening in any way.  I received no reply from your office to my voice messages.

People know me and know that what you're trying to portray is completely false.

Your attitude is not going to help your business.  The other report about you and your company on ripoffreport.com seemed outrageous, but now I'm not so sure, after being subjected to your attitude first hand.

You and your staff have made this simple matter extremely complicated.  You should think long and hard about which party really owes the apology, and about which party is really acting like a bully.  The only theat that has been made has been made by you.

There Are Two Sides To Every Story

Dave Bosworth works for a competitor of mine Huntington Bank/Huntington Insurance who I have no doubt having watched Bosworth act out as he has that this has been a rouse from the word go to at the very least to get an easy $50 from me and then to use a forum like this to try to ruin my reputation.

On numerous occasions he has been told to make an appointment allowing us time to go to our bank and get his replacement $50 VISA Gift Card and he demands we mail it to him AGAIN after Bosworth says he never received the first mailing.  How many times is he going to not receive his $50 Gift Card via the mail?   Once is enough for me.

Why he cannot accept to come over and pick it up when he lives approximately 5 miles from my office is ludicrous.  And in effect, Bosworth will now have cost me $100 in Cards yet alone all of the bullying showed my staff.

On Friday 12/20/13 within two days of his last episode, I emailed him the following yet he'd already gone to a forum such as this as has been his intent from the word go to sully my reputation.

Dave,

You have been out of line so many times and in so many ways explained as follows:

1)     You were indeed mailed your Gift Card and you shared you never received it.  We mail different Gift Certs all day, every day from this office and we haven’t had this crop up since the last time a non-client claimed the same thing two years ago who we had them come by and pick up a new card

2)     Since you had not received the Gift Card, you contacted my office and were shared that you were indeed mailed prior and told to come by on 12/18.  Instead of agreeing to this, you were rude and hung up never confirming that you’d come by.   We are not a bank and have to make an effort to get this done and based on your actions I am not wasting my employees time to get this done

3)     So you then do show this past Wednesday without a confirmed appointment and proceed to make a scene which is unacceptable.   The correct play would have been to apologize to the female you twice now have bullied (absolutely unappreciated and unacceptable!) and to set a date to come back versus the way you carried on Wednesday.  Yet you storm out of here and accomplish what?

4)     You then emailed me late that afternoon of which I have to get involved at check every interaction to see what is going on and just reviewed which this is not urgent or life threatening and the fact that I am getting back to you in just over 48 hours is excellent on my part

5)     You then call my office FOUR times today

6)     You then go on Social media and try to disparage me?

The time I have spent dealing with your ridiculous and immature behavior frankly merits me sending you a bill for my time. 

And furthermore, do you want to play the disparage game with me?   Think closely about how that could play out for you in your business?   If you think I am bluffing go right ahead and try me. 

In closing, how you made such a simple transaction so difficult is beyond common sense and based on your harassment of my staff, there is no way I am going to offer you a second card as your actions reek of duplicity.   The only sensible play from here is to never speak of the other and we move on, yet I will not allow your harassment and abuse to go unchecked any longer.

As anyone can see Dave Bosworth who works for Huntington Bank in the credit department is demanding that we MAIL him another card when the first card mailed to him he claims he never received.  

When offered a date and time to come pick it up he declined and rudely hung up on a female employee he tried to bully.

When he shows up unannounced his assumption is that we keep cash VISA cards in our office versus going to a bank?   From a guy who works at a bank?  

Again, had he simply apologized that he was rude and bullied a female employee and then hanging up on her when she shared to come by the office on a scheduled date and acknowledged that he would do so then all is well. 

Yet the scene he made where I had one of my tenants pull me aside the next day and share that he was going to go out there and physically throw him out of the building with the scene he caused and the way he was bullying a female employee was a deal breaker as my employee had to threaten to call the Maumee Police to get him to leave.

You draw your own conclusions.
