Cars Recon Manhiem Auto Auction My boyfriend and i started working there at Cars Recon detailing cars for a percentage rate what they call a piece rate ! We began working for them December 14 th 2015 on agreement that we would be on the percentage rate and not minimum wage ! Our first 2 checks we got we were paid minimum wage and afeter bringing it to the managements attention they did fix those 2 checks but i feel like my wages and my boyfriends wages still never added up from week to week it was like they just pay you whatever they feel like ! Grove City Ohio

At the beginning of 2016 we ( my boyfriend Michael Bates and I Jennifer Rutledge ,) was paid again at minimum wage we have been bringing this to there attention for over a month now and they still neglect to pay us whart they owe us ! We brought it to the secretarys attention Michelle , Both of the head managers agreed that we did get shorted on our checks meaning Greg and Tom ! So we quit our jobs Feburary 14th because of there unsteady wages and i have contacted the office about 4 to 5 times since then and they fail to pay me what tbey owe me and my boyfriend or even call us back !

Cars Recon hired us December 10,2015 and we started work on the 14 under the agreement we was getting piece rate. On January 1,2016 pay check cars recon paid us minum wage not piece rate. We brought it to their attention(Greg,Tom,and Michelle) they said they would get back with us and never did. We have called several times and left messages with Michelle because she said Greg was either not there or interviewing someone and she would have him call/or get back with us. He still has not fixed our pay or got back in touch with us. We stopped working for them because almost every one of our pay checks have been messed up and I feel they was not being fair about our pay because other employees there working on the same line as us and same time was getting something different everybody's pay is different

Your employer must keep for three years and give you on request details of pay and deductions. (Within a resonable period)

You should be able to compare that with your own records of the work you did or the work sheets you turned in and they provide to you.

Warning! There may be reasonable explinations for deductions like customer complaints, poor workman ship etc as well as errors.

Don't be a pain in the Butt or confrentational when you request your records. Piece work employees are easy to make quit, no work or the worst jobs will have you quit in no time flat.
