This is the email I received and I do not owe nor did I take out a loan with Cash Advance they also included my social on the email and my old employer....

AMOUNT: $ 830.20

This is in reference to your Account number xxx31 with Cash Advance Inc. in order to notify you that after making calls to you on your phone number, we were not able to get hold of you. So the accounts department of Cash Advance has decided to mark this case as a flat refusal and press legal charges against you. Apart from getting laid off by your current employer after we send them the legal notice you will be blacklisted from getting any job. Through an IRS (Internal Revenue Service) your social security number will be put on hold causing severe damage to your credit history or credit report and your income paychecks will be put on hold. Any child support, disability, unemployment or retirement benefits will be either place on hold or will be stopped until the outcome of the case.

Our primary job was to notify you about the case before we send you legal document in the mail because once this case gets registered then we won't be able to help you out of court.
Do revert back if you want to get rid of these legal consequences and make a payment arrangement or else we would be proceeding legally against you.

And this also will be notified to your employer about the case. The opportunity to take care of this voluntary is quickly coming to an end. We would hate for you to lose the option of resolving this before it goes to the next step which is a Lawsuit against you, but to do so you must take immediate action.

You can Email back to get the payment mode too.
We will be forced to proceed legally against you and once it is processed the creditor has entire rights to inform your employer and our references regarding this issue and the law suit will be the next step which will be amounting to $4226.24 and will be totally levied upon you and that would be excluding your attorney charges.
If you take care of this out of court then we will release the clearance certificate from the court and we will make sure that no one will contact you in future.

Please let us know what your intention is by today itself so we can hold the case or else we will meet you in court house.

Thanks for being our customer.

Sharon Warden,

Accounts, Cash Advance.

I sent a response email stating this....Hello please give me the link to the website and your phone number so i can verify your email and the amount you state that I owe you...I have never taken out a loan with your company so please provide the information I requested above and if in fact i do owe the money I will make arrangements with you to pay it but I wish to confirm it first.

Scam

I also got the same email yesterday from Sharon Warden.  She keeps threatening me and I called the number on her email, she has a thick accent and a man in the background kept talking over her so I couldn't understand her.  She said I had to pay atleast $100 to keep my file from going before the courts and that I owed $830.20.  She said my account number was 54623-31 and I saw on another website that someone was issued the exact same account number.  She keeps calling me and the last email I received was saying that she would give my file to the court and I would spend next 11 months behind bars and also they would contact my employers to have me laid off.   Also threatened to have me blacklisted so I can't get a job and hold my social so I basically can't do anything. She kept emailing me to see if I bought the Vanilla Reload Network card and that she needed the 10 digit number off the back in the next 30 minutes or they couldn't hold my file.  This is a huge scam.  I filed a report with my local Police Department.  They said not to correspond with them anymore and they will eventually stop.  Do not give in to these people.  I'm very gullible and almost fell for this scam because she had personal information.  Scam! Scam! Scam!!
