This company should be put out of business. The are liars, con artists, cheaters, and downright illegal. I borrowed about 2,495.00 from cash call back in December 2007. They charged me an illegal interest rate of 99.25%. Hey FOLKS, that's against the law. I was not given a copy of the contract of which I signed electronically on the computer. Huh, I wonder why? Because this was an illegal transaction, that's why. They have called me daily up until about 2 months ago. WHY? Because I have hired an attorney, and I am suing cash call. I am not backing down if I have to go to the Supreme Court.

This Company is the scum of the earth. They are simply illegal, and that's the gospel truth. They also are involved in drugs among other things. How do I know? Just read some of the other stories on this website. You will be shocked to the core. They know exactly what they are doing. They are ripping people off under the name of cash call. The owner of this company knows exactly what he is doing as well. Anyway, I am suing Cash Call, and they can either settle out of court and get ready to come to court, because I am not backing down one bit, come Hell or high water. That is a fact, and I hope Cash Call is put out of business!

Freedom from Cash call

AUTHOR: Steve - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, September 05, 2010

To all the People who have cash call collection after them.

If cash call files suite against you all you ned to do is file chapter 7 bankruptcy and all your problems with them will be over. I have never had an account with this company but I did have a simlar problem with a company call collect america which is a debt buying company that buys old car loans and credit card loans for penny's on the dollar and then tries to collect to full amount plus made up fees and interest. They called me like nuts and then file a law suite  for over $10,000. I found an online bankruptcy company to do my chapter 7 bankruptcy forms for like $200 and then took my paper down to the court and paid the filing fees and the rest was a breeze. .For under $700 you can get rid of all your bills including this company.( if you are super poor the court will even take payments or could even wave the filing fee.) The greatest part about it is once you file all creditors must stop any collecting against you. They can't sue you, can't call you, can't even write you. Even if they have a judgement against you they can't collected it anymore. It pure freedom and a fresh start.

Perhaps an employee of this company?

AUTHOR: junebug - (United States of America)

The rebuttal to this Original report I believe is from a employee or a former one! Lets face it, yes these people took loans out and did so knowingly but, alot of stuff regarding these loans were NOT devulged thruthfully.  Interest rates were completely outrages and they should be controled with any company. When a person falls into hard ship, and if they have been a good payer prior, a good, reputable company will step up to the plate and make arragments to help these consumers to make there payments by maybe taking less for a few months.  Cash Call does nothing of the sort.  They badger, demean, threaten, and then sue instead of helping.  I have seen first hand, and thats not cool. Did they ever think that maybe working with these people to maybe forgive a months interest may just help to possible make repeat customers?  I am one of the lucky ones and I have never had to resort to this company so I am an inpartial jury.  I see both sides but I'm affraid I lean more toward the consumer.

Not Illegal

AUTHOR: Gruppa - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 05, 2009

Their interest rate is not illegal. In fact, I saw one of their commercials yesterday and at the fine print at the bottom the interest rate has gone up to 135%. Why do you think that's illegal? Do you have any proof? Why would they print an illegal interest rate on a publicly aired commercial? Because it's not illegal, that's why.

Why do you think you don't have to pay it back? Because you didn't read the fine print. You took out a loan and they have all the legal agreements that you authorized online. Why didn't you get a loan from your bank?

Illegal?

AUTHOR: Ramjet - (U.S.A.)

Cash Call is a sleazy company and the interest rates they charge SHOULD be illegal but unfortunately, I don't think they are. I believe usury laws have gone away, at least in most states.

Besides, isn't the time to get upset and accuse them of being illegal BEFORE you sign the contract and get the money? Why are you getting upset now that you have to pay them back? You agreed, now pay your bill and never deal with them again.

By the way I would love to see you prevail in some kind of legal action to put them out of business but I doubt if you will. If you sue them please post any information so we can follow it with you.

Not illegal..

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

What they are doing is 100% LEGAL.

The fact is you suffered what I like to call "Idontwanttoknowitus". This is a condition that no matter what they did to disclose the terms, fees, and interest rate, you would come back later and say that you had no idea that is what you were getting. Because you probably "felt" that you "needed" the loan and did not have good enough credit to get it by other means.

I am sure that we will be hearing a RipOff Report soon about your attorney who took your money and did nothing for you. Because Cash Call will eventually sue you for the balance of the loan. In that case just hope you get an understanding judge who can work out some payment plan for you because you are not going to get out of the entire debt.

I do hope you have a nice trip to DC because the only way you are going to get to the Supreme Court is as a tourist.
