Received multiple phone calls from this company, could not truely understand what they were saying because of heavy accent. They stated I would go to jail, or incur court costs up to $12,000.00 if I did not send full payment by July 15, 2010. Could not give me an address and stated my call was being monitored by ten other "officers" Said I had to type up a "payment authorization" and have it notorized. If I had any questions to call only him directly at 845-765-9536. When they called me back because I could not understand them with an echo in the background, the number was listed as UNKNOWN, amount was $607.00

It's a very common scam

there's no such thing as the  Department of law and Investigation, a short look online will show this is nothing more than a fake, Made-to-scare-you name

It doesn't exist outside of the scammers minds.

Don't give them anything at all, they'll threaten, but they're in India, and can't do anything but threaten and lie.
