Dear Ericka ,
This is to inform you, that you are going to be legally prosecuted in the Court House within a couple of days. Your S.S.N is put on hold by the three major credit bureaus and request an alert be put on your file, so before the case if filed we would like to notify you about this matter.
It seems apparent that you have chosen to ignore all our efforts to contact you in order to resolve your case with the Bureau of Defaulters. Yes thank you for the feedback. I am aware that this is a scam as I have never even had a payday loan in my life lol! I was just putting this out here so nobody else even thinks twice about it. I called the number in the email and of course every time I call it's someone different, all with an accent like they are from India.

You probably are aware that this is a scam. Don't contact the sender of the email in anyway. You can look up this particular scam here on Ripoff Report and see that hundreds of reports have been filed to date. The email is most likely from someone not familiar with US laws concerning debt because the description of remedies stated in the email is totally bogus.
Don't contact these people. Don't send them any money. If if you owe money to a payday type lender, paying these people isn't the right thing because they are scammers and the funds go into their pockets. Check the FTC.gov website too so you know how to recognize financial scams. This is the Payday Loan Collection Scam.
