CASH NOW Saying I owe $ since 2010 Miami Florida

I was just harrassed at work by someone from an agency representing Cash Now, saying I originally walked in to a Cash Now office and received an 800 loan and now I owe $2000 since I haven't paid, and I will need to obtain an attorney if I want to dispute this they will and I will need to do a depo with my attorney.

I never walked into a cash now office, never heard of Cash Now. How do these people get your info? I have a Cash Advance near my home where I have received $500, that is the limit, no where can you get $800. They take a blank check so if you don't pay them cash the day it's due, which I would always bring them cash, they deposit the check and get paid. They will not extend funds to you unless you have a legitimate bank account and they want to see proof of pay stubs. These people know me there and in fact gave me a discount one time since I recommended their office to a coworker. I always receive back my blank check with paperwork that proves I brought in cash payment to them.

There is no way, I have ever been in a CASH NOW office, so I wonder how they get my info, unless someone in the other cash advance or payday stores sell info????

I'm upset, told them it is against the law to call me at work, and if they ever try to scam me again at work I will call the police.

I asked for proof, documentation, a location, a phone number and they could not give me anything. THIS IS A SCAM!!

How can I report this other than on rip off? How many people are believing this scam and being ripped off??
